This album was probably their best album as far as songs and production value, musicianship, arrangements. OPEN UP, REBELS ARE WE, and REAL PEOPLE were the best way to get an album started.

"Real People" Sounds as fresh and real as it did back in 1980, I used to play this album almost every day on the brand new 50 watts per channel Panasonic Hi Fi system we had just acquired, the sound from that system was amazing and re-produced the great music of Chic in all its glory, this track was and still is one of my favourites from Chic. A Super group who were ahead of their time as we all have now begun to realize.

Real people ?! ... No kidding ! ... Does it really exist ?? !!! ...

Yeeaahh...realy LOVE this true sound and especialy guitar playin by NEILL ROGERS of legendary CHIC band !!! Just keeps me feeling happy and positively like no other nowadays Music can do!  :D
