Chenoweth, Kristin - Do You Hear What I Hear? Lyrics

Said the night wind to the little lamb,
Do you see what I see?
Way up in the sky, little lamb,
Do you see what I see?
A star, a star, dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite,
With a tail as big as a kite.

Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy,
Do you hear what I hear?
Ringing through the sky, shepherd boy,
Do you hear what I hear?
A song, a song high above the tree
With a voice as big as the the sea,
With a voice as big as the the sea.

Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king,
Do you know what I know?
In your palace warm, mighty king,
Do you know what I know?
A child, a child shivers in the cold
Let us bring him silver and gold,
Let us bring him silver and gold.

[bridge]

Said the king to the people everywhere,
Listen to what I say!
Pray for peace, people, everywhere,
Listen to what I say!
The child, the child sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light,
He will bring us goodness and light.

She has the most beautiful voice ever! She sounds like she's singing as Glinda in the song I'm Not That Girl reprise; same inflection and level of emotion 💙

Too bad they couldn't do some of those studio tricks and have her duet this with Bing Crosby. It would be magical!!!

Kristin has such a tremendous singing talent. She has such a range and pure clarity to her singing. There is no one like her, anywhere. She is also a beautiful person too! That is why I say "A SONG has no better friend than Kristin Chenoweth!"

She also was in many Broadway shows from Wicked to Promises Promises (2010) and Charlie Brown (musical). Perhaps you would be interested in hearing her on bway

Outstanding! I've only recently discovered Kristen's incredible vocal talent. She sang on her TV show Pushing Daisies and also performed on the TV special Christmas in Washington.

I love these faithful renditions of the classic carols. I don't like it when some singers modernize the arrangements of old songs.
