I never experience break ups but this song made me broke into tears and thinked about my beloved ones betrayed me, but I was fighting the urge to stay in the relationship and slap him on the face. But I was no longer can stand it, stand *him* , so I leave him, leave our love, leave everything that he had gave me behind, and walk away.

But at the same time, I regretted my choice for leaving him, when I see him with his new girlfriend. I'd much rather him cursed me rather than agreeing with me, breaking up with him.

This my interpretation of it... but the lyrics seem to speak of a possible toxic relationship. Like as if now Jongdae was truly in love but maybe he wasn't being treated well? Him breaking up with her is both huge relief to him but it's hard for him to get used to life without her. Deep down, the lyrics seem to be implying that he regrets not breaking up with her sooner and for struggling too long. He knows things are for the better but the lyrics also make it seem like he blames himself for it... but he is aware that he shouldn't? God... the way he emotes through his singing... he truly sounds so pained singing this song. This song is like a comforting one but so bittersweet. He tried and tried, over and over again to make things work but they never did. Breaking up was his one last option and as much as it pains him to do it, he knows he and she will be happier because of it..


Edit: I think him saying sorry at the end could be double-meaning. He could be apologising to her for not being good enough and for not being strong enough to make it work. Or he could be apologising to himself for never putting himself first; instead, he gave her everything she wanted and he's sorry for that..... this song is just.... wow. Whoever wrote this, just wow... Jongdae really portrays the emotions of it all so well.
