idk, this was the impression that I had the first time I listened this

That's an interesting interpretation. I took more of a literal interpretation, for me the song was about a domestic abuse relationship. The first part was the partner who abused in the relationship. The other half is the one who received the abuse. Either way, her music is beautiful.

I love that. In many ways, the relationship I used to have with a god was quite abusive.

Its not to God, but to an idolized "other".

So much to say about this song. The beginning sounds like the synth from The Neverending Story, and the final progression is absolute technological heaven. How did they make that one drum loop around the one minute mark?
