Cheap Trick - Anytime Lyrics

I hear voices inside my head
All of them just wanna talk to you
I can feel your imagination
Running wild deep inside- you know it's true
This won't be a test of your religion
You won't have to bang the bedroom walls
Can you really hold and keep a secret
I'll be right here anytime at all

Anytime you wanna call, call
Anytime you wanna come, come over
Anytime you wanna come, call
Anytime you wanna call, come over
Cause I need your love
I need your love
Cause I need your love
I need your love

Well no one thinks that love lasts forever
More than just a lonely day and night
Never thought about the perfect answer
But I've got a place where you can hide
I can feel your lips all around me
A wet kiss witing to explode

Anytime you wanna call, call
Anytime you wanna come, come over
Anytime you wanna come, call
Anytime you wanna call, come over
Cause I need your love
I need your love
Cause I need your love
I need your love
Cause I need your love
Everyone inside my head wants to talk to you
Cause I need your love
I need your love
I need your love

Cause I need your love
Cause I need your love
I need your love
Everyone inside my head wants to talk to you
Cause I need your love
I can't eat- I can't sleep
Gotta leave- nowhere to go
Hidin' out- oh,no- it's what I want
What you gonna do now
Cause I need your love
Yeah, I need your love

Great Cheap Trick Tune. My favorite Trick album after In Color!

  2. Carlos Palacios

Cheap trick siempre en la mente de los jóvenes de 60 años!!!!!

  3. Bill W

This album should be called Creative Control, first time they truly had it, self produced. Everything they have release after 1997 has been near perfect.

  4. rubbersole

Good thing they're in the RR HOF, or I'd hafta go huntin' folks.......

  5. tctc2727

    So underrated!!

  6. 63Turbo

Dark, scummy, funny, simple, and complicated all bunched together... I find myself listening to this song over and over again, and in my mind it ranks as high if not higher
than any of Cheap Trick's earlier best work.

  7. SIRLOIN66

Anyone else find the hidden track on this cd.....I did by accident......kind a cool tho

    Rich G

Somewhere in my record collection I have this cd with the bonus cd. I was so happy to hear this album when it was released. I've been a fan since I was 11 in 1977. I've seen them 15 times in my life, and while I thought "Busted" was a decent album. to me it felt life they had mailed that one in with leftover tracks from "Lap of Luxury". This album released in 1997 was a refreshing return to there earlier songwriting !!!

    Shawn Duffy

yep --- and 2018 proves it

  10. s jones

  16. bruce buchner

  17. NightMoves

This will never not be in my favorites

    Shawn Duffy

    that's a double negative .... aka, a positive

  18. spinalcrackerbox

CT as an "alternative - Lollapalooza playing - hard rocking" act. While that is what is a part of them as well, I feel it's not their essence. They are not like STP or Pearl Jam or Alice in Chains. They are Cheap Trick and thank all the Japanese girls who "got" them back in '77 already. They are a melodic power-pop/rock band at heart and there is nothing wrong (I became a fan in '78 the first time I heard them for the first time on the radio - it was "Southern Girls").

  19. GreatUncleSiggy

Awesome album, top to bottom. Shame the record label went belly-up shortly after its release.

  20. xjohncharlottex

It is a great album. Seriously underrated, and often ignored. I think it ranks right up there with there first 3 albums, and easily their best effort since "Dream Police."
