Pour ceux qui ne l'ont pas vu, je vous invite à voir aussi le film : "la promesse de l'aube" où elle a le rôle principal. Elle est bluffante ! On ne la reconnaît pas.. même sa voix elle a su transformer.. Elle passe d'un personnage à un autre avec le même brio.. Voilà une véritable artiste. Sublimissime. 👏👏👏💓💓💓

It's a children's rhyme for the playground, often involving a skipping game. It refers to the plague, I think the black death,the ring of roses is a rash before the disease becomes more serious, a pocket full of posies is a hopeful herbal cure or to relieve the smell of the dreadful infection as it destroys the body, we all fall down means death from the disease. So it's a rhyme to dispel the disease and deal with the anxiety of death. So I think it use in the song is to intimate existential angst.
