I believe we will be persecuted and killed before the rapture, I have seen it in prophetic dreams. You should not go on thinking life will be the same old safe game where we suffer nothing until after the rapture, we will also go through some persecution and our faith will be tested. In the end it will show who really was a christian and decided to carry the cross no matter what it costed, and who played church with half of his/hers heart in the world. But Jesus can give us courage with the holy spirit as a channel, all we have to do is to turn to him. Those who have not yet been baptized in the holy spirit, should ask God to do it to them. I can really sense the difference from time before I was baptized in the holy spirit and after. Its a whole new world and God can reach you in the most powerful ways.

I was really digging this until 1:22 "Tribulation: I don't wanna be here..."   Even the great Charlie Daniels has allowed the false doctrine of the pre-trib rapture RUIN an otherwise inspired song!
Tribulation: I WANNA BE HERE as a faithful witness for Jesus Christ, when the world needs to see Him in us the most. And so should Charlie Daniels and every Christian!

Mighty fine song! But don't just read The Book Of Revelation, read the whole Bible because there ain't no New Testament without the Old Testament. Very interesting book which contains our past, our present, and our future. Also, Rapture will happen AFTER Christ's return, not before. Read the Verse "to meet The Lord in the air" it's after Jesus' return

People are offered fake food, fake friendship, fake love, and a self-image based on consumption. You forget that without a God, WE become responsible for justice-- and most atheists do desire justice. Speaking of false consolation, if you want to make a real difference in a complex world, you need more than one bad book.

The line from the song is a reference to the idea that "this world" that we can see is the end all of knowledge and that there is nothing to look forward to after we die except that we cease to exist.

The godless world system tells people to seek personal pleasure with no thought of a Holy God before whom we will all stand on judgment day to give an account to Him of how we lived our lives.

Basically, it means think outside of the box of a mind set that only considers the physical.

The 'rapture' DOES exist! Your arguement that if doesn't, being based solely on the theology of it not existing until 1830, is foolish at best. The Bible CLEARLY states that man's knowledge will increase near the end of time. Therefore it should be easy for you to see that this is exactly what happened with this Bible truth - as man's knowledge increased, so did his understanding of things in the Bible... the 'rapture', included. So you need to get 'caught up' with the truth, my friend.

No, no "man" knows the future but the Lord only. So whether you subscribe to the pre-tribulation doctrine Charlie sings about or not, Jesus, John, and Paul all described the terrible tribulation to come. Evangelizing doesn't mean watering down what God has told us in his Word.

No man knows the future. This is alarmist and unfounded. The Israel of today has little relation to the Israel of the past. Most Jews now are Jewish only by culture, not by blood. We should be out evangelizing, not scaring.
