Charlie Daniels Band, The - Feeling Free Lyrics

Jamming down the highway, feeling no pain
Mother nature, two wheels and a chain
It's good to be alive and brighter
Whisper in my ear, girl, hold on a little tighter

You know it's alright. living and lovin every day and night
Thankin' the lord for the music in me
Piece of mind and feeling free

Soon I'll be on the road, pickin guitar
Knowing that my home ain't very far
But don't you worry sweet thing cause you know I'll be there
To kiss my tennessee girl with the long golden hair

[Repeat chorus]

Wow - great nostalgic blast back to junior-high shenanigans...no adult supervision, no curfews, no worries...best times of my life...

youre a douche. speeding up the audio in fast motion? What a dik.

Nope. That's exactly what it sounds like on the album. I clocked it at 4:10. Just as it was recorded and released.

  9. C.... D....

Loved CDB back in high school and college. Was a tad disappointed when he decided to go the "patriotic" flag-waving route because he was sort of a rebel in the 70's.

Back when free spirits were allowed to soar a little more freely than today.

Loved the album then and still. CDB was a pretty fun concert. Almost always saw them with Marshall Tucker Band. Great memories from the late 70' into the 80's of this music.

An absolutely great ALBUM and period of time to grow up and hear this great music.
