It's hard listening to songs mentioning Steven's little girl that tragically passed away. This attitude is what has been such an inspiration from the Chapmans. I know it's definitely tough for them, but reminding themselves of getting to see hee again is very healthy.

Steven, you are just so blessed of God with your writing. This song tears me up, though I know it is a positive one, because I also just lost my best friend on Easter. Beverly did not want to die, she wanted to live more than anyone I have ever known . How I miss her, as well as my parents and friends and all the other relatives I have lost. I know I will see them again, but not having at least my best friend her for most of the rest of my life is,hard. I can only imagine Steven how you and your family feel. I cannot imagine losing a child. Thank you for still being able to write, even these incredibly touching songs. May you be blessed to do so,until the day you pass. You are awesome.

I played this song on my computer after my uncle told me my grandpa died. Every time I listen to it, I think about how everyone I knew who loved Christ .who are now in Heaven (dad, my friend Marcia, and my grandpa) and how when He calls me, I'll see all of them again

Steven Curtis Chapman was easily our favorite artists and one of the voices I grew up on. 
It's been so hard listening to Steven Curtis Chapman since dad died. It's almost been 4 months.
The day my dad went into cardiac arrest and they brought him back... I played "Beauty Will Rise" for him. Though he was in a coma - I swear, he cried.

I can relate to you. My dad passed away last week.

+RestAndLetGo I was alone with my mother in her last 10 hours, in the hospital ICU. I held her hand and read Bible promises to her as she lay in a coma. There was one point where I KNEW she heard and understood me, though nothing changed on her monitors. It was a gift from God. So when you remember that time with your dad, think of it as a gift and be comforted that God had grace and love to show you and your dad in your grief. Take that comfort with you always.

its truly hard missing our dads...we are partial orphans with Jesus as our real papa.   Steven just is a growing man, with a praying grandma (if she is still alive) and if she isn't...well, he's going on the interest of her prayers!!  beautiful...hope your reunion is going to be as special for you as for me, when i see my daddy again. .  still hard, 3 yrs later, looking at his pics...but:  God knows...and comforts us, doesn't he?!  hug to you dear one.
