This song was a song that was sung by someone I loved so much, many years ago, but passed away way too young, just before we would have started dating. I always believed we would be together someday, Somewhere. I still do. C. B., I still cry when I hear this. I still keep that hope alive, even after all these years. Love you.

I can't listen to this song without getting really emotional. It's so beautiful, so angelic.

A little off pitch at the end I can hear it. Someone is a little flat. That ending has some issues. The harmony is not volume balanced properly.

AFAIK, it's a unique arrangement by David Downes, Celtic Woman's music director. I doubt that it's free, but it may have been published. But you'd need an alto, a mezzo-soprano, a soprano and an angel...

Well, I've just decided, between Celtic Thunder, Celtic Woman, and River Dance, the Irish have a monopoly on entertainment. They are great and it is real music and dance. Not the junk we usually hear here in the USA.

@b43xoit Actually, I think it was written to be sung by one female and one male voice to give the idea of 2 lovers against the world. Still, I think the lyrics allow it to be performed by a group, such as this. IAC, a beautiful song that probably should have been more popular than it in fact was.

These ladies do a great job with this song; however, I really like it sung by one voice because I think that fits the mood of the function of the song in _West Side Story_, its relation to the story. For Tony and Maria, finding a time and place where they can live out their love for one another away from the constraints and dangers of the social situation that swirls around them is a forlorn hope. The song expresses that in a single, offstage voice.

@TripBoomLikeThat I didn't know that all gowns were automatically "too sexy" for a certain age group. It wouldn't have to have been extremely form fitting or reveal too much. I love seeing the girls gowns in all the shows and it's a shame that she didn't wear one in this. She always looks lovely, of course.

I love this concert and this song. One thing always bugged me about this particular show, though....Why is Chloe the only one not wearing a dress?

I love hearing them sing a capella like this. I really do love Mearaid's (sp) violin and all the drum and other accompaniments, but this is the true proof of their awesome talent. Watch also Danny Boy a capella....it's breathtaking on youtube or live!

the thing i love about this is that Lisa Kelly had to perform it before when she had played in West Side Story. lol. she's also my favorite Celtic Woman and i love anything she does.

I recently saw Westside Story. This song has always been beautiful, but I now know the beauty which it was meant to mean. I like this version, and the one from the film, as well as the version by Josh Groban and Charlotte Church. if there's any other wonderful versions that anyone knows of, please tell me!
