Celtic Woman - Carol Of The Bells Lyrics
Hark how the bells,
Sweet silver bells,
All seem to say,
Throw cares away
Bringing good cheer,
To young and old,
Meek and the bold,
Oh how they pound,
Raising the sound,
O'er hill and dale,
Telling their tale,
Gaily they ring
Songs of good cheer,
Christmas is here,
Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas,
Merry, merry, merry, merry Christmas,
On on they send ,
On without end,
Their joyful tone to every home
Dong Ding dong ding, dong Bong

It's not Christmas until you listed to the Celtic woman's Christmas music
SCHEDRIK - in Ukrainian language. The name of this original carol in original Ukrainian language...
Do I see Angels
This is one of my favorite versions of this song. Must listen every year for the holidays!
I'll always choose the carol of the bells with singing vs instrumental, but this version is by far the best
Best Version Ever!°
Never tire of hearing this- even in 2019. Perfection-as well as stunningly beautiful ❤️
Still listening to this lol
1:29 when ppl ask me how I walk in heels. Also I got a Celtic women CD from a Goodwill. LOVE IT!
I admire the girl prancing around on stage totally killing it with the violin!
初日本コメ
That high soprano at 1:51 is so gorgeous, her voice is mesmerizing
That would be the wonderful Meav. and you are right !
It's so good!!! Like the best version I've heard!
"Carol of the Bells" is a popular Christmas carol composed by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych in 1914[1] with lyrics by Peter J. Wilhousky. The song is based on a Ukrainian folk chant called "Shchedryk".[2] Wilhousky's lyrics are copyrighted, although the original musical composition is not.
Sorry but I didn't like this version. It sounds like a 'Pirates of the Caribbean' rendition. People simply forget it's about the music and put too much focus on the artists, and people look very awkward while singing and taking themselves too seriously!
speed up to 1.25 thank me later
ME ENCANTAN LAS CELTICS <3 GRACIAS. SALUDOS DESDE LA BELLA CIUDAD DE COLIMA EN MÉXICO
Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now I can't wait for Christmas ☺️
this never ceases to amaze me
impresionante version
Yes, this song has Ukrainian author who was killed by Russian bolshevicks
The Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych only arranged this song. In original it's pre-Christian Ukrainian carol 'Schedrik'
magic of Ukrainian song...

Christmas isn't Christmas unless I listen to this particular one...
Same. Also here is your reminder if you haven't listened to it yet this year.
That is the same for me too!
I’m here to remind us all!
Merry Christmas. From UKRAINE!
Very nice version! But this song (Schedrik) appeared before Christanity in Ukraine (i. o. 10th century) and in native Ukrainian it is sung about a swallow - an ancient Slavonic symbol of spring.
wow. the one playing the violin was like crazy good
+Brianna Levesque you should here linsey sterling
+Mya Nicole I have. she is amazing too!! lol
I would love to see them both do a duet together

Celtic Woman and Trans Siberian Orchestra doing this song.
Oh my Arceus....
When i first heard them hit the tone at 1:50 i felt my body shiver and tears pop out of my eyes for no good reason other than sheer beauty of what i had just heard. Now i try to listen to it a few times in a row, just to "get used to it", but this doesnt seem to happen. Still i can feel my entire body just shiver and eyes water up when i hear that part of the performance. I do belive i have found the note that resonates with the core of my beeing. And i love it!
How many observe Christ’s birthday! How few, His precepts! It is easier to keep holidays than commandments. (Benjamin Franklin)
Once I told my mom I wanted to see this and she said" You'll be bored in 10 minutes" and I was like "You do not know my love for X-Mas and violin"
Live, Mairead's performance of this is beyond amazing. I got to hear her perform it in Denver a few years ago, and I get to hear her again when Celtic Woman performs in December at an arena just south of Wichita, Kansas.
cool story bro
This is something !!!
I offer my admiration of Ukraine!
A beautiful rendition of a lovely Ukrainian carol.
I didnt know it was ukranian lovely song !!!!
Very nice version! But this song (Schedrik) appeared before Christanity in Ukraine (i. o. before 10th century) and in native Ukrainian it is sung about a swallow - an ancient pagan Slavonic symbol of spring.

It's the fist of December in Canada!

This must be one of the most overproduced versions of a song ever.

Amazing!!!!
Mairead has such great energy
You ought to see her barefoot, with the stage to herself. Look up "Granuaile's Dance."
Uwielbiam dziewczyny z Celtic Woman
As much as I enjoy all the succeeding gals that have come and gone from the group; the original members are still the best vocally.
Immortal pre-Christian Ukrainian folk song, perhaps this melody appeared in the times when Slavonic, Germanic and Celtic tribes of the Carpathian region lived in peace.
ukrainian folk song !! ;))
i love Mairead Nesbitt, the violinist she was the one who inspired me to play the violin=)
Se fossi bravo come lei nel suonare il violino!!!
