To think the original vocals for this were made on an Ipad in a bed late at night through a small idea. A few years on and it's a masterpiece on an album. Small thoughts can lead to big ideas and those ideas can form into a masterpiece.

I cannot tell you how BADLY I need a longer version of this but something in me suspects it might not pack the same punch. Though, who am I kidding, it's you. Of course it would. But god, when I first heard this on Offworld I cried.

Unfortunately this is the first Celldweller album I won't be buying. Just can't come to grips with the new sound which I find to be completely lacking. I'm not getting any emotions out of this new sound and I have to say the lyrics don't strike a chord at all. It just feels like Klayton is trying too hard to spit out music rather than taking the time to perfect a song like he used to previously. I'll just look forward to the next Scandroid album.

Have you heard the rest of the songs? This one is different from the rest of the album. As a metalhead, I am totally surprised at how much I am loving this album.

Yep, I've listened to them all and just can't get into this album unfortunately. I know it's a departure from the usual Celldweller sound but it does nothing for me whatsoever except grate on me, which I don't like to say, but that's what this one does. Hopefully the new Scandroid release will put a smile back on my face.

@OrderFTW I think a beat would kind of ruin the vibe of the song. I think something like "Imogen Heap - Hide And Seek" is what a longer version of this song would sound like. I have a feeling Celldweller was inspire by that song when making this song.

I kind of like the 2010 version a bit more. That one sounded a little close to being Circle of Dust material based on the overall atmosphere it provides. Like a augmented being that has been through so much, has finally reached its end and is waiting to embrace their mother again.
