Celldweller - Echoes Lyrics
(Echoes)
(Echoes)
Echoes passing by
They're fading out as I'm fading in
They are fading out, leave me behind
Shimmering
And falling
I hear the echoes of
These memories
Holding on
And wanting to let go
I drift farther away
They're fading out as I'm fading in
Echoes of a time
They are fading out, leave me behind
Leave me behind
Leave me behind
I drift farther away
Echoes passing by
They're fading out as I'm fading in
Echoes of a time
Are fading out, leave me behind
(Echoes)
(Echoes)
Echoes passing by
Echoes leave me behind

Celldweller Echoes Comments
Es el álbum más reflexivo de Klayton. I like
Ambient future rock 🌿🤖
I like the Silent Hill/The Gathering vibe it's got, mixed with some synth/electronic or something
Can’t wait to listen to this on a summers night, and gaze at the stars! ✨
I love how Celldweller has evolved over the last 15 years, and how the sound can range anywhere from deep introspective melody to hard-thumping raging metal and techno. You are a musician (musicians?) of many talents and I am always eager to see what you bring next!
I dont even know what type of music we would call this. But i love it keep up the good work man
Look At the description there is a cast of 7Sisters. Does it relate to the "The Seven Sisters"? From Wish Upon a Black Star album
This is my favorite song on the whole album! I'm thankful to you Celldweller, for showing me that it's OK to feel again, I truly cannot put into words how much this album means to me, or how it has effected my view on this life we sometimes are made to live out in solitude. Thank you again, you've taught me much! Both as a person and as an aspiring vocalist!
Talent all day long!!!!
This song came on when I was printing out photos for a picture frame. The photos I originally picked I had in a folder on my desktop and was going to print them before my folks came to visit for Labor Day last year. I never printed them because my mother ended up in the hospital and passed away 2 months later. Echoes..passing by...it really hit me when looking through the pictures i picked originally...and decided to chose different ones given the circumstances. This song just haunted me as certain new pictures just jumped out that I chose. I hear the echoes of these memories..holding on..but wanting to let go....Truly beautiful song, shivering vocals, and had me smiling yet crying at the same time.
Good Ole Detroit. Haven't been back there in over a decade.
this album sucks, not even close to the "Celldweller" album,
Wellfukendone!!!!!!!!
Really give you the feel of stepping in someone else's long forgotten footsteps. This path is uncommon so only a few, maybe even only one, walk it at a time before fading away.
Eggos....
about me :)
~~I hear the echoes of these memories~~
All of the music you do is so incredible man, I'm sure you don't care about mega stardom and just do it for the love of the music but you deserve mega stardom for this kind of music. Keep it up! This stuff gets me through the day everyday :D
I have yet to find an artist whose music I actually want to listen to more. Time and time again I end up coming back to Klayton and his many projects.
Doesn't really sound like Celldweller anymore, I kinda dislike it tbh, but you do you Klayton lol
ON REPEAT!
This song is good, but I miss Klayton, who motivated me. Thanks to such songs as "Black Star", "Own Little World", "Louder Than Words". Thank you for creating new songs, and do not dwell on one genre, thanks a lot for such wonderful experiments with music!
Masterpiece //_^) /
This is literally one of the best songs I've heard in years
Haven't been a huge fan of the other songs on this album so far... but this song? Pure awesome. It's definitely a bit of a downer, but life isn't always sunshine and rainbows.
Very beautiful atmospherical sound. Loved it. 👌
Amazing vocal
@voicians
So much post-rock vibes
The guy in the video looks a lot like Blue Stahli. Only a bit taller.
If Klayton could make something in the sludge metal genre (like the unbeatable Au Pays Natal/Sol) I would be a happy man...
7even Sisters?
The song is beautiful but the vocal effects are very distracting.
i think thet compliment the tone a lot, it is very melancholy.
that is not your style
icant i i cant wait
that what i mean
Offworld and Great Divide way better
Somehow this video doesn't fits the song at all for me. With Klayton's new songs i often try to hit play and minimize the window not to ruin the first impression by some improper lyric video. And i'm so glad i haven't watched "Into the fall" while first listened to it! :)
nice sunglasses :) where can i get them!
Klayton I think everyone feels this way about your music it touches us makes us feel what your feeling when you strike those keys or program those synths makes us all connected, its beautiful and touching and Thank you for making awesome music. I lost someone a long time ago and although i will never forget your album reminded me of her. Thank you.
Dj SynthVirus what a beautiful thing to say
Best song from new album.
It's funny how by reigning it back he's created such an incredibly powerful track - genuinely think this might be one of his best, and deepest.
Love it!
It didn't dawn on me until watching this (I know, even after the ad campaign, I still didn't get it). Is he returning to the Pleiades imagery of Blackstar with the seven sisters?
like = +
GENIOUS
Спасибо вам за очередной сеанс наслаждения для моего мозга)
Reminds me so much of 28 days later :D
Nah, this album is definitely not for me. It's boring as hell, sorry to say that. I listen to Celldweller for a reason, and it's not because I care a lot about Klayton's acousticly transcribed emotions. I love the mix of heavy guitars and tons and tons of heavy electronics. Call me shallow or whatever but I really don't support the vocal minority (or majority)'s opinion that this is good in any way. How is it good? If it didn;t have the Celldweller name in front of it, I'd never hear it or wait for the end of the song. Man that's fucking boring. And the awful vocal effects... wth, seriously?
Zombot I find the songs boring as well, although this one is pretty good. Its just very different and I totally understand Celldweller fans disliking this.
Meh, I changed my mind, it's pretty good actually...you just have to be in the right mood for it.
Robert Jones Smoke a blunt or three, and you will feel it more
That was so beautiful
My favorite song of you is "celldweller - against the tide" but maby this wil beat it^^
Wow dude nice
I've been listening to your music since I first picked up the Immortal demo tape, and I think Echoes and Off World are is some of my favorite music of yours in a long time. Very well done. Thanks for keeping the music coming.
I hope I can still make friends with the album, so far I do not really like it
Ur music "echoes" throughout my life, in a good way
😊
Probably my favorite album now, I'll admit. I was always partial to the debut but I loved every album after it too and had a few favorites on each. But this whole album just gives me so many beautiful feels
This is something that trascend music, is immagination trought sound
I think this will soon be my new go-to chill album.
The seven sisters, they will come for you...
We may be Offworld, but no matter where you are, you can always see the Blackstar.
Cell Vendetta But remember, don't wish upon it. Just rely upon your Birthright.
In all honesty though references aside, I wish I could upvote your comment multiple times. Once isn't enough.
David Spivey one upvote is the best it's gonna get ;)
Cell Vendetta nice
Cell Vendetta no price to pay no distance too far?
cthulhu has different plans for those stars
brother klayton?
Absolutely beautiful
I dont like it, to be honest
Great song! Thanks!
This is the first album Ive pre ordered from you and this is one of my favorites. Proving you're talented in all genres of music you perform .
One cool track well suited to meditate and unwind.... kudos, Klayton...👏👏
We're all perfectly imperfect.
That's the best way to not get angry and to truly understand the human psychology. We are imperfectly perfect beings, designed to have differences and flaws. It gives diversity.
Que músicaaaaaaaa lindaaaa aaaaaaa,
Que hino!
Né não, bicho?
This is somehow the most touching love song I have ever heard. A clash of spirituality and synthesizers has brought me into a world I've never felt, one of confusion but comfort. I'm feeling something new, just by listening to your music. This is an experience that I can not record, but document in hope to emulate this feeling for eternity.
Wow I just absolutely love this song and the music video complements it. Well done!
Beautifully Crafted! Noticing some books ten seconds in, "Antifragile" and "The Familiar", wonder if these are just put in or have a deeper meaning?
14 years and I still can't understand why they haven't gotten famous lol
Also feel this way for Voicians Kidneythieves, Vertical Section, Crytek, Sirus and SoulExtract they are so talented and underrated they deserve more Acknowledgement
Bruh he's famous as shit. Circle of Dust was famous as shit. Everyone who listened to them listens to Klayton now. He has over a million followers bro. So uhhhhh yeah he is?
Joewlski Hagenski a million is not a lot compared to other artists. If you ask people on the street all will know Madonna or Michael Jackson for example. But most of them will be like "who the fuck is Klayton and what is a Celldweller. And if you have a circle of dust you should do some cleaning." That is the sad thing, given that he has more talent than most of these super famous people.
He is famous on Deadrising lol
boo....
Loved the addition of the Pleiades in the music video. (Both the actual constellation and the seven sisters as people)
Amazing video, great sound :) Maybe one day I can create your album cover...sure if you like my style of drawing :D
I FUCKING LOVE EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC!
This entire album needs to be sent off world so this and other universes can enjoy it
Step 1: Play song.
Step 2: Lay on your back.
Step 3: Close your eyes.
Step 4: Imagine yourself floating through space.
I kinda feel like this music video didn't really do the song justice. I guess it fits, but it's certainly not what I picture when I hear the song. Kinda gave me the same feeling I had with the Down to Earth music video, where it felt like I was watching a music video with the wrong song playing over it.
Still a really well shot and intriguing music video, though, just not really what I was expecting to see.
For you, not about you.
dont forget to get high first
Sure, why not just throw your life away, right?
Oleg Matis Geez you're being needlessly negative about things you don't even understand. Go meditate my friend. Your attitude isn't uplifting anyone.
I think a lot of this is shot in Detroit? Some of it looks familiar
But I used to live there and sometimes I go down to highland park to visit a friend
In the more run down abandoned parts of the city It's got this kind of vibe
But I still picture space when I first heard it
I wish i could see the studio because the city's only like half an hour away
I've been listening to him for years and I was pretty happy when I read that his studio is (or was) in detroit
perfect.
*Балуешь, Красный :)*
I like the rhythm, melody, and atmosphere in this song. I personally thank you, Klayton, for bringing us Cellmates this album. Keep up the awesome work Klayton, we love your music👍
Look, it's a young Klayton xD
Honestly though this is for everyone who needs a good walk through a place they have made many memories/experiences, the good and bad.
The Seven Sisters play as guides for those who look beyond the atmosphere towards the stars; seeking an out of body experience.
This is such a song for driving out into the desert or the shore at night, lying on the hood of your car, and watching the stars come out. Beautiful, beautiful work, Klay.
um atrás do outro ? PERFEITO : D
Só falta Mother's Arms pra ficar perfeito
Puurfect!
This is so hypnotizing.
Klayton, you have no idea how much this entire album means to me. The lyrics just speak my mind somehow and the melodic sounds revolving around every track just seem to pull me into my own personal version of space and what lies beyond it. I've faced tough times and it was this year, that I experienced a rather heavy loss of a loved one.
Thank you for being you and for blessing your fans with this album. Truly. Your music has saved me from deep depressions and the like. Now if you excuse me, it's time for me to go "Offworld."
DeQuantum agreed! I've been suffering anxiety attacks as of late and this music really helps me calm down
Same here...this song really hit me in the face with emotions.
An awesome song and music video, as always!
