I listened to this song over and over again and it’s brought back so many bad memories of my brother who still doesn’t understand how much his words are hurting me mentally. I can’t fight back for myself because he will physically attack me and he is really strong and knows how to fight. I’m scared to defend myself when he insults me. My mum says it just your brother being a jerk, boys do that. But it’s more than just a brother being a jerk. For Context -by “hurting me” it’s all words but words are just as bad sometimes.
Thank you if you read this because I can’t just keep all of this in after 7 years build up of his insults, language and aggression is really hard to live with.
While writing this I’m just making a mess of myself. My entire leg is just soaked with tears.

it makes me sad to see that no one had the heart to give you a little bit of strength, even after after three weeks. Let me just give you a little advice on your way:
It's never your fault what other people say to you. Never, really, NEVER take it too hard because most of the times people have a problem with themselves and not the person they're confronting. I speak from experiences, trust me, and to me it seems like your brother might have some problems with himself. I don't quite know what but it's probably something into the direction of self hate which he can only release/ defeat on other human beings. I was like this too, for a few whole years, until I realized that. So maybe you and your brother might just sit together some time and hear each other out. Just talk to each other. Be honest, but be nice.

I'm convinced that you two are gonna find a way, sooner or later :)
And until that moment happens, just try, please try, to ignore it. Don't let the power of words destroy you. I know it hurts, it can hurt horribly bad, but just remember there are people who love you and care about you. Hope it'll get better soon
