By far one of my favorite albums, everytime I listen to it I get highly inspired to pick up the drums...but then I realize I wouldnt know where to start and put myself back in my place haha. You do any video lessons for people such as myself who might want to pick it up?

That's right, the medium-low tension on the snare wires help the snare sound fatter, you can't really tell from this video, but my snare monitor mix sounded nice and full bodied. .

Funny, I asked Josh if they needed help at the Burlington Vermont show and they only had a couple more, so he declined. I got to talk with Travis between two sets and he was really fuckin' cool, as was Josh when I shook his hand after their set was done.

Didn't get to talk to Dave or Derek though, they didn't help with the merch or anything.

I helped the Cattle guys haul in their merch and gear a couple weeks ago for one of the last-minute shows. Incredibly nice and chill guys, especially Dave.

No he just has his snare wires/bottom head pretty tight so the snare doesn't rattle for very long after each stroke. If it did, there wouldn't be very much definition between hits since he blasts so damn fast.
