In an interview, Drake said that the video is about a girl who has a hard time at home cause of family problems and stuff, so she goes out to the park a lot to write and draw and do stuff like that, and she doesn't have many friends and this stuffed fox and her are best friends, and then her dad calls wanting her home and she leaves, forgetting the fox, but cause they're best friends the fox tries to find its' way back to her but gets lost on the way, but this boy finds the fox and returns it to her but doesn't stay there for the girl to know it was him because it shows that sometimes you don't need to be recognized for the acts of kindness you do, that it's enough that you just did it and helped someone.

this song helps me through my depression when it's so low when I'm upset over things that bothers Me please keep singing your the one who helped me out of suicide since than you save my life I love you 💙

Let me tell you a little story about my self in middle and high school. I was a really emo and self loathed kid (wore black, long hair, listened to greenday, or avenged sevenfold)  starting in 6th grade. I like many others at the time thought life was horrible and I had suicidal thoughts almost everyday, followed by crying myself to sleep every night. I honestly thought I had the worst life ever and came close to drinking bleach four times. Then one day, after a good cutting in the bathroom (yes I did that too) toward the end of freshman year, I did a self evaluation. "Look at me now, there is no future", I thought my life was meaningless and everyone hated me (which was true at the time cause I was a creepy emo person). Then something sparked, I thought "How can I change this?", I wanted to change everything about me that made me hate myself, so I started physically first. Cut my hair, went to holister for a new wardrobe (the hot chick that helped me was really nice, she blew me in the changing room too), and worked out my arms, chest, stomach and legs. I then proceeded to familiarize myself with sports (this is where most emofags stop [yes I can say that, I was an emofag]), and I learned every bit about football and basketball as I can. Come the beginning of sophomore year, I was a new dude. Ripped, clean-cut, confident, and dashing was the new me, no more looking to the ground when I walk. I tried out for the football team that year and got VARSITY Starting Running Back, the following year, TEAM CAPTAIN, we even won state my senior year. Everybody loved, all the chicks wanted to fuck me, and all of the dudes wanted to be me (some of the gay ones wanted to fuck me too). Where am I now you may ask? Well I am typing this on my smartphone in my bed, and in a little bit, I'm going to make love to my beautiful fiancee (remember the chick in holister that blew me? We're getting hitched) .Bottom line is that all of those emo kids out there who "have no future in life" and are "suicidal", are just saying that and sharing it on the internet because they want attention, nothing more, nothing less. If they really felt that way about themselves, they would and will change the way I did, from a sorry window-licker, to the supreme alpha being.

I love this song. I met this guy on the internet. We got really close, he was the greatest guy I've ever met in my life. He sent me a link to this song and said it was for me . I fell in love with this song, as I did with him. Six months down the line, we have not spoken for a while. In that six months, I have been thinking about him a lot, and sometimes I cry because I miss him. I spoke to him recently, He has a girlfriend and I don't think he feels so close to me anymore.
