Cat Empire, The - All Hell Lyrics

This is seriously my favorite album of theirs. Everything afterward is just too commercial, and while their old stuff is good too, none of it is as refined and cohesive in sound as Cinema. Truly a masterpiece from one of my favorite bands.

The intro sounds like Tim Maia's, Gostava Tanto de Você (a great funk-soul artist from Brazil, in case someone doesn't know him)

great album but i preferred the more pure songs if that's what you call it with the trumpet solo's and stuff like that

This song needs a music video done, cause this is a HELL of a beast of a song!

The chord progression is e a b e b, In the main part, the chords are much too complicated to explain in text.

I agree with earlier comments.... this album continues the great Cat story... highly addictive songs as always. Love you guys and can't wait to see you live in Sept in Bris.... bring it on!!!!

@Wallrat Agreed, although I've acquired a soft spot for The Heart Is A Cannibal, the entire album is complete quality!

The sound of this album is simply amazing. A great move IMO... though this song is tied for first with the other 11 on the album.

@John2Watson Yep, different doesn't have to mean bad, as I've noticed quite a few "fans" saying. The Cat Empire soul is still there and it always will be, if they did an exact repeat of an album it'd be boring. As Harry transcribed himself in Down At The 303, "music should take risks and be experimental" =D

it`s a different sound now, but their songs are great again!
