Casualties, The - Political Sin Lyrics
Helicopters dropped us in the bush
Run for cover adrenaline rush
Mortars crash tearing up the ground
Bodies lay lifeless on the ground
Fighting a war we can't win
Government commits the ultimate sin
Boys running screaming in fear
Wounded screaming dragged to the rear
Here comes the enemy with the big guns
We're the wounded the lucky ones
[Chorus]
Can't ask the government any questions why
I don't support a government
That's full of hate and human torment
[Chorus]

@DeathToTheBully me too fuck yeah
@SomeShows true say man. This is the album that got my first band pumped up to play. This album got us so pumped and ready that we got shows with D.O.A. and the Dayglo Abortions after. So much fun.
Only good album by this band, in my humble opinion. I got this CD when I was like 13 and it sparked a journey into punk that I really needed. Sadly I know a lot of kids who never dug deeper. The album insert for the CD helped me discover a ton of other bands (Aus-Rotten, Jesus Chrust, I think even Lip Cream from Japan was in there) and is probably one of my favorite records of all time, even though it's one of those totally "unpunk" things to like when you're into newer generation stuff.
SomeShows The Casualties were also one of the bands that sparked my journey into the punk scene (besides the classics Germs, FEAR, DK, Misfits (Danzig), The Adicts, etc.). My first punk show was a Casualties show w/ A Global Threat in LA 2001. Me and my buddy traded an extra ticket for two 40oz. Ticket was worth 3 times that, but we put a much higher value on beer at 14 yrs. old. About 6 or 7 years ago (give or take) I went to a Casualties/Clit45 show and there was a completely different crowd there, compared to the grimy drunk street punks I remember from years pasted. The punk scene seems to change from generation to generation. My gen. thought we were creating something new and I'm sure the gens. before mine and after felt/feel the same. But I have to agree, I hate when these kids try to tell me what's "punk" and what is "unpunk" when they've only been into the scene for a few years; just wait until they've put a decade in and I guarantee their opinions will have changed!
"Who let these egotistical bastards
Get into our scene
Preaching Politics and they tell me how to be
They want to be preaching anarchy
But I'll break their rules that
I was never part of it"
@StaleMilk5 HAHAHA
All people with the name "Jorge" Are bad asses.
@Agoraphobicnb324x i dunno man, as good as this is "FOR THE PUNX" is my favorite album ever and always will be cause i mean everysong on that album is an anthem for punx and skins everywhere
