I'm quite surprised nobody has referenced the following line of this song that really hits me: Lord, I feel You in this place, and I know You're by my side. Loving me even on these nights... When I'm caught in the middle.
THAT brings tears of joy to me! And makes me feel unworthy of such Love at the same time. But I know He finds me worthy!! All praise to Him!

The line that has always just grabbed me is "Just how close can I get, Lord, to my surrender, without losing all control?" I've never had an easy time with that surrender-to anything. Not even to God. I just really like Casting Crowns so much! They're so down to earth and they "get it", that for a lot of us, faith is not an easy thing.

What a song! Straight to the point. I think that we're all sometimes caught in the middle (James 3:2), but he pulls us up to where he is. We have to learn step by step to trade our dreams for his. And all glory to God!! He changes us all!

You should I'm 20 in a few months and I'm was afraid of singing in front of people but I did, and I've even led prayers a few times. It can only get better...im rooting for you <3 x

I play with my praise team at church. I know singing can be intimidating sometimes but I always remind myself that I'm singing for God and no one else. To my audience of ONE!!
