THAT is why people forsake and loathe "religion". "Religion" is absent of love and compassion too often. What people NEED is faith, grace, and love.

I don't care what you trouble is; whether it's sin by choice, damage because of another's sin, or something else... You are worth something. You deserve to be loved. You deserve to find compassion and grace in God- even if His people sometimes refuse to show and give it.

When I did say something to someone she shrugged it off like it didn't matter and since has been kinda cold. I am a Christian but I'm really struggling right now and am kinda giving up trust in the so called Christians and don't feel God in my life like I used to. Working in the public sector, I see so many imperfect people who've been hurt by folks who fill the churches on Sunday mornings. Jesus calls us to love everyone with His unconditional love. In fact, it is our love for others that will show the world that we are His disciples. We don;t have to agree with the lifestyles of others, but we are called to love them. If you can't, are you even a Christian?

I just saw Casting Crowns in Abbotsford. When Mark asked Youth Pastors to come to an area during intermission for guidance and prayers, I joined in knowing I was only a Christian writer. Standing before Mark, I simply wanted to receive a prayer for the brokenness I have been feeling. This song has been relevant in my whole life, as I am the woman with the Scarlet letter. I wondered if this song would be sung at the concert and if it had, I would have needed a pocketful of tissues. Thankful I am for Casting Crowns to write and sing music that speaks to the heart of us all!

I was a worship leader, just this August 2019 we found out Im 8 months pregnant. I’m not married to my boyfriend but we’re planning to. He too was a member of team.. but we didnt show up to church since July.. I was a worship lead for straight 3 years. Yeah, I committed fornication. Two of my church friends reached out for me, but aside from them, no one dare to even speak to us 🥺 Im not going back to church cause they want me to apologize to everyone.
