THIS VOICE gives me goosebumps! At some point, I'm guessing he hired a voice coach, probably for EFX and Broadway. That screwed it up. The sound is completely different. If you watch him from the '90's (?) on, you'll notice his tongue is constantly in the way. He learned to open up his throat instead of just busting it out naturally. That's fine if you're in theater, but not so good for my ears.

This boy was my first crush at the age of 11 years old. I had never had these feelings before for anyone. He was so sexy, cute, handsome and alluring! I was in a fantasy for him! Still have the same feelings today listening to his music on YouTube! Thanks, Youtube!

The breathiness was swoon-worthy when I was 12 and 13. Now, even though he's gone, it's the songs where he pushes his voice that gives me goosebumps. This is one of them!

This album was total class . When you think he was so young and only recently been playing Keith Partridge , he had grown into such a unique singer . Despite his success he was underrated as a singer . Never tire of looking at him or hearing his voice.

This is from 1972 yet sounds so fresh and not dated at all- very classic pop ballad.

I always thought this song was only sung by Ray Charles and Bonnie Raitt, until one day I came across this! Probably one of the saddest songs ever. Beautiful version!

I've never seen any young singers nowadays who is as handsome as David. He is quite short though, but I think it was because of overworked when he was younger that affected his growth.

From the age of 8 to 10 I was madly in love with David Cassidy, Im 48 now and still have a soft spot for my first love.  I remember my dad bought me a huge poster of him that was an actual photo blown up, I had it on my wardrobe door and used to kiss it every night before I went to bed lol.

This guy has an incredible talent!! He is so cute in shorts, especially at 1.36, I often wish he wore them more often, his legs look so long for a shortish guy, just a great talented beautiful package.

i believe this song was written by a man named Kin Vassey, who was a member of Kenny Rogers and the First Edition. unfortunately Kin died a few years ago. david does a beautiful version of this song.

Just realised two things.....as it was the last song on side two it was time to get out the bath !! and also the title is so relevant as I realise it was an omen for being without Margaret.

When I was 16 I used to lay in the bath listening to this album and this song in particular. It was so relaxing and at that time I was going out with a girl who was a massive David fan and she used to think I looked like him. She was a fantastic girl and I was sorry it ended a while later. I stupidly ended it as I started to believe in what people were telling me. So this song brings back so much. Margaret was her name !

Got to meet his best friend Sam after the concert. He peformed 2 shows in Tulsa OK. I was on 4th row center. It was a dream come true. Only a few of my camera shots turned out of him. I am really enjoying all the videos that you have on here. Brings back alot of wonderful memories. I had tons of pictures from my avid fan days but only have a few now and my concert book. I just love hearing the songs and this one put a chill down my spine...took me right back to 72 at the concert.

I saw him in either 72 or 73, he sang it here also. He played the piano while performing it.

I am a big DC fan. Got to see him in 1972. He sang this. I will never forget either.
