I sometimes question the signing to Wind Up but at the same time I really enjoy this album because of the beefiness with the instruments. It's poppy yet heavy to a certain extent. Not sure if this was their choice or if the label was involved to some degree, but I like this.

@Austin Exum really? Can you give me a list of those songs? And another thing drop C means the tuning is in full step down except for the E string that's turned down to C. Correct? Or is it in standard then E string turned down to C?

they started off before pop punk was even considered a thing.

Pretty close to pop punk yo.. Instuments not to hard to play, typical high pitched voice, lyrics resemble those of pop punk lyrics. so yeah id consider it pop/punk. Pop/Punk is basically all i listen to.. New Found Glory, Blink 182, All time low, Etc.. and this sounds alot like those bands.. sooo :P

Being a fan of Cartel brought me here! Probably their most famous song, and a good one at that. If you like it, you should really check out their albums. Most bands have songs I don't like and and I end up having to cut them, but so far every song of theirs I've heard, I really like. Check em out!
