Carpenters, The - Winter Wonderland Lyrics

Sleigh bells ring
Are you listening
In the lane
Snow is glistening
A beautiful sight
We're happy tonight
Walking in a winter wonderland

Gone away is the blue bird
Here to stay is a new bird
He songs a love song
As we go along
Walking in a winter wonderland

In the meadow we can build a snowman
And pretend that he is Parson Brown
He'll say are you married?
We'll say no man
But you can do the job
While you're in town

Later on we'll conspire
As we dream by the fire
To face unafraid
The plans that we made
Walking in a winter wonderland

Carpenters, The Winter Wonderland Comments

Great medley. Karen does great justice to white Christmas. The best

So blessed to have grown up with Karen and Richard's music.

Its beautiful !! Very rarely do we find so much perfection. A perfect balance in voices and orchestration.
The Carpenters are a wonderful legend, a very high reference that new generations should study in order to improve their productions because in many cases their eagerness to market leads them to neglect the musical content.
Thank you very much Carpenters for your beautiful legacy !!!

  4. D.... S....

Richard had a tendency to over-orchestrate and over-produce when less would have been more.
