I sang this song to my husband for 35 years. It made me love him. He ALWAYS laughed at me. He died and I so miss him. We were married on the second day in August.
My husband died October 22nd 2017. I always played it for him each year because I always loved him from August 1st....13 years before we got married...and we were married 32 years.
Loved this song from the day I bought the album in 1973.
Try to listen to this on the first day of August every year ~~~ ever since hearing it for the 1st time 45 years ago.
