Carlton, Vanessa - The Wreckage Lyrics
Speeding
Into the horizon
Dreaming of the siren
Wishing for her broken glass on the highway
It could be so easy
The rhythm
Rhythm of an engine
Always makes me empty
I see the headlights coming at me
I can’t help but wonder
Flying
Flying in slow motion
Wind through my hair
And ripping through the scenery, oh, the wreckage
Speeding
Into the horizon
Dreaming of the siren
Wishing for her broken glass on the highway
It could be so easy

Yeah those lyrics are easy to figure out. But all for what? who wants to do ''that'' when you have everything going for you like she did.

weird but this has always been my favorite song on the album... always... whenever I hear it I feel so much emotion...when i listen to it i see a suicide... i can picture the whole thing... and i see happiness not pain.. almost like the song was about a new beginning to a horrible life..
This album saved me from suicide when I was 14. Her music has been my friend and my comfort since I was twelve. I love her so much. Real artists are superheroes. Real music saves lives every day.
incredible song
I always interpreted this song to be about suicide. "It could be so easy" .... "it is my secret", etc.
It actually is
when i was in a car crash i saw my whole life flash before my eyes. my friend could not see the car going the wrong way. the drunk man in the other car lived but not my friend. i remember sitting on the ground watching car stop to see if everything was okay. sometimes u just want to go back and change everything
I have her to thank for getting me into playing the piano.
Vanessa, σειρήνα, ότι έκλεψε την καρδιά.
Amen-Demeter
This song was just a song, until I was recently in a car crash. Everybody was ok, but I fully understand this song now, and I see it in a different point of view now. I can relate this song to my experience, and this is the song that plays in my head over and over again when I think about the incident. I <3 the way she can write a song that speaks to people, doesn't use auto tune, and the piano is just amazing. This is real music, her music.

C'est une chanson incroyable, et je l'écoute pratiquement tous les jours. Vous aimez, Vanessa!
(I believe, the word siren.
Undermines Vanessa talents.. Her true attributes, may fit better under. The tittle of Muse.)
It is amazing to feel the glamour and grace; as it's develops though time.
( But it's just another opinion from a wayward admirer)
