We’re not gonna hear Mariah on the radio again unless she makes more songs similar to her 2000s songs. The music promotion era kinda stopped fuckin with her after Obsessed. Now, I feel like her fans are the only group of folks helping to keep her going. Mariah is doing music she feels is true to her without having to write another radio hit single. She must feel like she doesn’t have to do that anymore, which makes perfect sense. The woman’s been workin’ that industry hard since ‘89/‘90. I appreciate everything from Mariah but I just gave up hope that we’d ever hear a radio hit from her again. I’ll always be buying her albums and helping to keep her relevant. She’s one of the 90s longest surviving acts to still be doing big things!!
