My ex bf died from a heroin overdose 3 years ago. I met him when he was clean and had been for a while. He was bright genuine beautiful soul. His eyes and smile could make my worst pain turn into pure happiness. He listened to all the things that happened to me when I was young that broke me. Genuinely cried with me for my pain. We both lost our dads tragically, my dad was murdered. His dad died from a doctor in a mal practice. We had that bond that we both felt so broken we turned to drugs and alcohol because the pain was unbearable. But when we were together we both didn’t do drugs because we were each others high. Till he relapsed and I watched him slowly die in front of my eyes. I would be sick with anxiety for fear of waking up next to him dead or get a phone call he died. But then I got the phone call, that morning when he died I woke up from my sleep with a sharp pain on my heart. Almost as if I felt him die and leave earth. His sister called me bawling letting me know his body was found in his bathroom unresponsive. “ I realize life brings you flowers, then it builds you coffins and far to often it we end up falling to our demise” I would listen to this song everyday during the time and after his death. It’s almost as if Alessia wrote this song for me. This song would bring me to my knees praying to god to save him, and to take this pain away. 3 years later I’ve been dealing with the worst depression after losing him. Heroin ruined not only his life but mine. 💔

i'm feeling it now man... back in 2015 everything fell to me and i realized i was only being used by people for them to have good grades and stuff and i ended up pushing myself away from everybody i (kinda) loved, in a rock bottom status. but a few months later i was finding new friends and slowly rebuilding myself. in 2016 it was falling again but not in the same intensity. and slowly rebuilding until last year (2018) when i thought i was at the top.

then suddenly, even with stable and good relationship i felt i was less important (more than usual) than my group of friends, and add that to the fact that i recently came out as transgender and get little to no respect about it at home. but still my friends are supporting me and i'm glad about it

back when this was released i related to it so much... i still do nowadays but not the same way
