Great song, but Corpsegrinder's vocals doesn't cut it on the album versions. He almost make the song sound like a Screamo cover instead of a Cannibal Corpse song.

Am I the only one who feels the production in this album is not as good as in the previous (The Wretched Spawn)? It sounds too compressed or something.

Huh, I'm the exact opposite I guess.  I love the production of Rutan but can never get into the production of The Wretched Spawn.  I just feel like The Wretched Spawn doesn't have as heavy of a sound as the other albums (which is weird cause the same producer produced Gore Obsessed which I like).  Still, each album is Cannibal Corpse kicking ass and I love all of them!

Maybe, but the guitar tone is crunchy as fuck, that's what I like, and it's not a bad production anyway.

If anything, this one has a ton of midrange pushing through.  It's a Rutan signature.
