Messiah was annoying as hell. I hated his bleating-sheep vibrato.
I loved his tone, but the vibrato annoyed the hell out of me.
When they first came out i thought they were incredible, and Johan Längqvist was an awesome singer - but when the second record came out, I was disappointed to see that he was no longer their vocalist. Sure, they put out some great material with MM, but a lot of people just didn't like him.it's like King Diamond. I love his band,but his voice irritates me.

having kept bee's i can honestly say the "solo' guitarist has the feeling of the hive down semi-well... the guy on the vocals (probably didn't write these lyrics) has no clue about the hive or what it's like to dance in the temple of the true queen bee, Brigid (if im wrong please forgive me... i will give my honest and deepset and most sincere apologies). this seems to be written by rock opera fans that are dedicated to the temple of jack black's super pop culture... NOT of the true Imbolc means

Not a bad song, the beginning reminds me of "He who sleeps amongst the stars". The album seems to be a bit worse than "Death Magic Doom". However, can't wait for the release

I don't consider constant vibrato epic, and that's really all Messiah is good at. And it's fine sometimes, he does it well and all, but after hearing song after song of it I really find it grating, which makes any disc he sings on hard to get through for me honestly. Though this song isn't Lowe's greatest performance either, can't argue with you there...

Couldn't disagree more, Lowe is sooooo much more powerful than Messiah ever was(sorry, vibrato does not equal power, and that is ALL Messiah has ever been able to do). The only guy Candlemass has had who's as good or better than Lowe is the guy who sang on the debut.
