Moonmadness fu il mio primo disco dei Camel..... avevo 15 anni e lo trovai tutto bellissimo soprattutto “ another night” favolosa!!! Ho ascoltato per anni questi gruppo, ma poi con l’età, e problemi vari la musica è passata in secondo piano; oggi li sto felicemente riscoprendo ed a riascoltarli, mi regalano ancora le loro magiche atmosfere....... forse anche di più di un tempo....... Superlativi!!!!😉😉

Camel my all time favorite progressive rock. Possibly my all time favorite band . This is the song i use for my morning alarm peaceful...

It's is one of my favourites songs, is so sad and beautiful at the same time, i love it.

I heard this song when I was I was about 16, and thought it was some kind of musical weed. No smoke, no fire, just Andys flute and guitar who take you high up in the sky.

Progressive rock..... the best thing That happened to music.

EVERYONE needs to hear Camel. Their first five albums are fucking flawless.

Latimer, Bardens, and the lads all used to hang out at the record store next to the Mint Gate, in Canterbury. I was a student there and used to see them calmly chatting in the shop when I went buying my favourite L.P.s.

even now, I'm learning more and more of musical pearls, like this one. it is amazing what wonderful music from before 40 and more years is still there to discover. the past isn't dead, it is very much alive and full of passion.

Hava kararınca içimdeki metalci çocuğu öldürüp balkonda uzun ama cevapları bulamadan gökyüzünü seyrederken bulurum kendimi. Moonmadness albümünün asıl kalitesini bu balkon saatlerinde derinlerime kadar hissediyorum. Hayallerim, ulaşacağım yerler hepsini bu parçaların hisleriyle süslüyorum. Ama albümün asıl kalitesini konserde canlı izlerken aldım elbette. Mayıs ayları bu yüzden benim için çok çok çok özel olacak her zaman. Şimdi de bu balkon saatlerimden bir tanesinden yazıyorum size. Gökyüzünde yaramaz bir çocuk gibi bir şeyler seziyorum. Havanın karanlık olması bu çocuğu içine kapanık ama içinde taşıdığı onca şeye sigdiriyorum. Tabii ki bu benzetmem yağmurla ilgili. Yağacak yağmuru seziyorum bir nevi...
Albümle birçok kez gün ışığını getirdik. Bir dost bazen, bazen bir deniz, bazen bir sevgili, bazen bir yalnızlık. Bu balkon saatlerim benim ben olduğum nadir yerlerden. Kendimi otuzlu yaşlarımda görüp bu balkon saatlerimi tekrarladigimi düşünüyorum. O kadar eşsiz bir albüm ki bu; tüm benliğimi hapsediyor, ben elimi Spotify kapatma tuşuna basana dek... Ama bu albümün hapishanesinde bir mahkum olmayı tercih ediyorum tüm soğuk havaya rağmen..

SO WOW, people trying to get these lyrics correct. I love it. Long before the interwebs and before the Commodore64, friends and I tried to figure out these lyrics. One guy swore the 1st line was "High Flying hybird" or some crap and that it was about a bird. And from there it was certainly a mess of errors. Whatever it is, I thank you all for the efforts. Mehmet did a great job and I think Urban Kolbl made some great revisions. I always did think it was something like his corrections ;
"Life takes you up, it brings you down

Keep moving fast, though the wind and the rain

And if the world keeps spinning 'round, you'll be back again"
EXCEPT, I think/thought it was something more like;
"And if the world keeps spinning 'round, WE'LL be back again" (meaning that the band will record another album and continue on). But that's just a kid being a kid
