Caesar, Daniel - Scream Lyrics

James Blake's song being covered by Daniel Caesar during a time in his life when he was "feeling some type of way" so he sang about how he was feeling and this song was appropriate. I am hearing this cover by DC for the first time today, 9/22/19, and it is even more beautiful because he hung in there, worked through his feelings, persevered, and followed his Dream and has won Juno Awards, Grammy Awards and various other Awards for his music...his voice is so beautiful.

I've adored dear Daniel's work. But your icon equalizer thingy (sorry i am not up on graphics or production engineering terms) is sweet design! I wish the bass was at the bottom & the high notes at top. But i am a designer geeking out. Just so beautiful. I imagine then it would look top heavy. Love it regardless.

i love the original by James Blake and that Iead me to this cover. I've been a fan of Daniel for some time now and I must say, this speaks volumes to me. Blake's version didn't feel personal enough. I loved it for the ambience. The feeling of being surrounded by ypur feelings. This creates a different vibe altogether. It feels not as if I'm surrounded by my emotions, but more like I'm alone, without them. This makes me feel like I'm desperately reaching for something that will make me feel again. Blake's version was heavily electronic. This is more hollow; empty. This puts me in a place where instead of searching outward for what inspires emotion around me, I can search inward, for what inspires emotion within me. It's weird, heh. 😅

He forgot, the song is called "The Wilhelm Scream", not "Scream".

when i listen to this song i imagine myself in new york city at night, roaming around alone after a breakup, crying. Just traveling the city thinking about life, and waiting until the sunrises.

I love this version because I think that Daniel has a nice voice I like the sound of his voice with the piano but in my opinion James is best he has such a unique voice and music style.
