Buzzcocks - Peking Hooligan Lyrics
You know me cos I hang around the bicycle sheds
kicking over the traces in my fancy footwear
as I go wrecking and stealing
around Tiananmen Square
I'm a social problem
I'm a Peking hooligan
I just finished at the city schools
I don't want to go back to the fields
I paid no heed to Mao's words
I heard after every meal
I'm a Peking hooligan...

Is this the only known recording of this track? Unless the band has a old rehersal demo in the vaults?
@PoserExposer I only collect 7" vinyl so I don't know if its on an album anywhere and,as you say, maybe some old demo.
@PoserExposer just did a bit of research, apparently, theres a "better sound quality" version on the "Screen on the Green" cd,same gig etc.
I actually have this record somewhere. I think I bought it through an ad in Record Collector Magazine. And from what i remember, the lyrics here don't match the lyrics in Howard Devoto's lyric book 'it only looks as if it hurts'.
