I do understand where you guys are coming from, but I don't think she's talking about sex. I think its much more... well, innocent. Its about being 15 and blushing and feeling the rush of having someone who loves you. Its so fresh and new; its not like you sandbox days and the innocence comes from the curiosity to learn about this world. After your heart gets broken, you learn not to fall so deep, and the innocence is gone.
Either way, beautiful song.

Agreed with the previous post. It's not about how young you lose it, goes out for both guys and girls. I dunno why it became such a race, personally, I find it pathetic that some people feel ashamed to be a virgin. It happens when it happens, sooner or later, don't matter.

Not all that different for blokes tbh. You fall for a girl and it's awesome but when it ends then the innocence has gone. Find myself reflecting on that sometimes, the innocence of first love is something I miss too. Stopped wearing my heart openly since then. But still a virgin at 21 and it'll stay that way until I find the right girl, I'm willing to wait until then and until we're married!
