As someone who has been both love sick and junk sick many times, I have to personally disagree. They both suck in extremely different ways.

@Kat C Having your body and mind overcome with an overwhelming need for something isn't the same in both? Sure they exhibit themselves in different ways though I can say both have had me doubled over in pain one the pain stems from my skin and every nerve ending while the other is mainly centered in my chest but still symptomatically they are quite similar.

@James Xero Fair enough. I certainly agree that there are strong parallels. However, love sickness leaves my heart feeling physically overwhelmed. Like I can barely breathe and the ache is unbearable. It makes me want to die. Junk sickness for me is worse. I feel it in my entire being physically. On top of that I love doing it so much, more than I enjoy love with other humans, that the lack of it tears me apart emotionally. People let me down. Heroin never has, only lack of Heroin causes pain. I know this may not be conventional thought, but it is just how I feel about it.
