On September 6th, my best friend took his own life. The one thing we never aruged about was Kate. She is our Goddess. Now when I hear this song, I think of my bestie. He is no longer in pain. He is no longer disappointed by his family and friends who once there for him. I stood by him until the end. He called me 1 minute before he hung himself. I will never forgive myself for sleeping through that call. I no longer leave my house. I have no friends that I see in person anymore. I have given up.

What happened? I don't have many friends now. But I live for me and my family. My nephews. There is lots to live for. Don't give up, as Kate sang. Don't give up.
