Burdon, Eric - Greatfully Dead Lyrics
There are things I have to say that must be said
That will be heard so hear me now
Or is everybody dead
So you really wanna listen to the things that I am saying
Don't think I'm off my head, do you receive me
I love everybody do you hear what I said
I love everybody can you understand that
Or are you stone cold dead
Now even though you're half dead I love you
And I know you think I'm out of my mind
Can you hear me baby, or are you just
Make love message in the music
That can be heard if you herd what I said
Or is everybody stone cold dead
My silence, like an expanding sphere, spreads everywhere
My silence spreads like a radio song, above, beneath, left and right
Within and without
Somebody must be listening somewhere, come on everybody
My silence spreads like a wildfire of bliss
The dark thickets of sorrow and the tall oaks of pride are all burning up
My silence like the ether, passes through everything
Carrying the songs of earth, atoms, and stars into the halls of his
Infinite mansion

Has this anything to do with the Grateful Dead?
John Lemon He knew the Grateful Dead and they did anti war songs. Then when all the war and politics started happening that’s when he started writing a few anti War songs his anti war songs. Also later he wrote Sandoz and White House. This is straight from his book so please people don’t start jumping all over me✌️
The Grateful Dead absolutely have no Anti-war songs
Piloting music
oh shit, bout to start dancing in my chair
could someone write down the lyrics please ? Can't find them on the net, thx
Better late than never but here's the best I could find:

Damn glad I found this; lets go to the Club-a-Go-Go baby!
cool song,thanks!
I would have given my right ball to be one of these guys during this point in rock history, I've been on a two week only Animals kick and again I can't get enough, I'm feeling real dizzy and far out. Dam it, take me back to the 60's man, get me out of this shit music of today, take me way back. A 1972 Cutlass 442 with an Animals 8 track in the stereo.
Dave Scott Olds Delta 88 here with custom 4-something) engine installed by cousin Butch. Hard core ERIC fan since sixties. Rock on!
THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ROCK TUNES I HAVE EVER HEARD!!
Ericthebest
The only worst part is 3:59
While I love every song by Burdon, he just screams the lyric. But my comment is, this songs is great. What a riff. This is when Eric Burdon and his band was at their best.
anyone have lyrics?
@stormyEggieLife Basically, I answered this in detail, under comments, for "White Houses" by E B & Animals.
Kindly check that YT video, and comments. Enjoy the New Animals.
Vic Briggs was the most versatile guitarist in Eric's career. During an argument,
Eric fired him in 7/68, effectively ending creative new music recording. Animals
announced they were disbanding three months later. Our loss.
Must agree. The solos on White Houses and Sky Pilot are all Vic. Correct me if I'm wrong
Camphor Van BeethovenYou are probably right because he started writing his anti war stuff around that time and Eric Briggs was in the Animal, The New Animals ( this is according to his book) but there is no mention of him firing Briggs. At least not that I have read✌️
i cant get enough of this
too bad the Grateful Dead didnt cover this one
irvnz why the fuck would you cover a tune about your band
one of the best and underrated bands ever
excellent.....
Holy hell the beginning riffs...
Have Not Heard this in Ages!!! Winds Of Change sessions...
