This game looks interesting but I've barely heard of it. Is it not good or is it just underrated?

It's like Dark Souls and a Nintendo game out together, it's extremely hard and if you die too many times then your character actually dies and you have to start all over.

I hate to be the one, but after hearing the very end I feel like I am obliged to say this: Fuck, I lost the game!

Just played this game a week ago. This game messed me up emotionally for 3 whole days after finishing it. I don't suffer any of Senua's mental issues but it spoke to me like nothing else. Truly a masterpiece

As a schizophrenic (diagnosed in 2006), let me just say that I appreciate the class and respect you showed in making this video. To be completely honest, I'm a lot less...polite about it. As far as I'm concerned, I'm completely nucking futs and I'm okay with that. :P

To anyone out there who is dealing with schizophrenia, I have a few of pieces of advice that have helped me and hopefully can do the same for you:

1) Stop worrying over whether or not what you're seeing/hearing is real. This was the biggest thing for me. Constantly trying to figure out what's real and what's hallucination is both exhausting and unnecessarily stressful. If something could be a threat to you, your family or your friends, treat it as if it's real and protect yourself/them, damn the consequences. If it couldn't possibly be a threat, even if it's disturbing/disgusting/weird, just treat it as entertainment. Hell, there are people who pay good money to be able to see/hear what we do, embrace the fact that you get it for free. ;)

2) If you're hearing voices, no matter how insistent, tell them to piss off. Would you allow your best friend to talk you into doing something dangerous to yourself/others? I wouldn't. If I wouldn't do it for my best friend, I'm certainly not going to do it for some random voice that doesn't even have the decency to have a body attached to it. If they want it done so bad, they can damn well do it themselves. Leave me out of it.

3) Get yourself a cat. If there's any animal in the entire universe that understands schizophrenia, it's cats. If you do something random in reaction to something that isn't actually there, it's insanity. If a cat does something random in reaction to something that isn't actually there, it's Wednesday. A cat will never look down on you if you see/hear things that don't exist. Of course, they'll look down on you just because you're not a cat, but that's to be expected.

4) SEE A DOCTOR AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY!!!! I cannot stress this enough. Being schizophrenic can be dealt with and you CAN live a good life. Not necessarily a "normal" life, but a good one. To do so, you're going to need help. Your friends and family can't help if they don't know there's a problem. If they're not willing to help, they're no longer friends and family, just people you used to know. I'm not the world's biggest fan of doctors, but even I can admit that they're a necessary evil. Find one that you can deal with and listen to them. I'm not going to be a hypocrite and tell you to do everything they say, but at least hear all of the options before you ignore them.

I wish I could follow that advice. At least the first bit. I have always been afraid of the things that I hallucinate. I don't know what other people get, but I would give anything to not have to have this. My symptoms started to manifest when I was around 12, so I have been dealing with it for a long time, but even now it is hard sometimes. I have a hard time getting close to people because I know some of the shit that I do does not make sense to other people. Like... Sometimes I know the skin on my arms isn't splitting and spiders are not crawling out of them, but I still start to shake my arms or swat at them.

Heard from some researchers it helps to talk in a sense to them or at least the voices NOT trying to dick you over lol? It's all interesting especially finding out it's common for kids to hear even if they aren't born with the szchephrina

@MsLadyDarkside if it gives closure or helps I know an artist who was able to cope by drawing out the hallucinations, turning them into inspirtation .. it was really amazing though I can't hope to imagine what he went through before getting better... The dude drew out amazing stuff in the end

Look, I'll admit this right off the bat: I don't have schizophrenia, and I'm on the Autistic Spectrum, so I can't easily understand other people's experiences, but I just want to offer something that has really helped me in my dark spots. To anyone reading this who is struggling with any kind of health issue, be it mental, physical, emotional, intellectual or spiritual, know that you are still in the forging process. You must endure being broken over and over again, but when it's all done, you will be a being of such strength, beauty and quality as to be worthy of legends.

Dan always produces fairly satisfying work, however a few of his songs just eminate and perfectly convey such strong tone and feeling like his Borderlands 2 rap and it's extremely manic and deranged tone or the little nightmares rap with its very dainty, yet dynamic structure and eerie overtones. This is definitely one of those. Goddamn.
