+Max Maillet actually out of this entire album this was my favorite song. I just think it is messed up that we (fans of the music) can't just respect a person's opinion and instead must spout that they have bad taste and are horrible people.

i like this song but the sudden change in tempo kinda puts me off but the rest is good
I know it sounds crazy but I think this is my favourite album of all time. I have listened to it from beginning to end more than 50 times and it still make me feel emotions un-matched by anything else I have ever heard. It feels so weird to think that maybe I identify with the character of this album some how yet I consider myself to be a happy person who has be very fortunate through life. About as low as I have felt is during an existential crisis to which I have never relapsed as hard.

About a year ago, I went through a breakup. She was my first, in very way, and I was going to marry that girl, all I had to do was wait. But then it fell apart, and it hurt greatly. My soul burnt to cinders, my heart torn apart. Its a comfort to know I'm not alone, not alone in this twisted existence of heartbreak and despair.
I think it could be real. He was depressed because of certain real events. Because of that, he used his sadness as a muse to create his story. A story wherein the character reaches his breaking point and kills himself. In 'New Leaf' he starts by saying he found a 'way out'. And later in the album he talks about 'being a patient' helped him better himself. It could be the end of this album is a failed suicide. Where after, he recovers from his depression and gets over suicidal thoughts.
He *did* smoke weed. In one of his "Face" songs, he talks about how he quit and got his life together... I think it's 'Proud'.
