@Isabella Oliveira the dissolution of love can ruin anything, though. you've got to try to be brave enough to keep putting your heart out there and not let the hurt ruin you. same goes for songs you love, being as they are extensions of your deepest feelings, no? maybe that's the biggest battle, not letting things scar over, songs or anything.

I introduced my girlfriend into Built to Spill and she immediately fell in love with them.
Now we're not together anymore and it's so sad, but next week we'll see them playing live. Together, yes.
And, after all, I know their music will always be there for me. And I can't ask for anything better.

They weren't part of the grunge movement but they were sometimes lumped in with those bands because they were from the Northwest and gained traction in the mid 90s.

i've been obsessed with built to spill for the past year and while there's nothing wrong with love is my favorite album, keep it like a secret is probably my second. i remember buying this album and on my way back home from school on a cloudy day, this song came on. immediately listened to it five more times. doug is a genius. any bts fan should really check out his solo album. "window" is one of the best song he's ever done.

Heh, I went to a Built to Spill show with my (now ex) girlfriend back in 2010. They played this and I sang along, as well as to a few others I knew by heart. I got weird looks from her and her sister/sister's boyfriend all night. Bunch of poser hipsters. ;)

seen bts in 1997 didnt know what any of the band looked like doug the lead singer was amonst the crowd he started talking about heatmiser i believe or mabey some other local band , anyway really interesting convertation. later he took the stage opening with something from nothing wrong with love i was pissed that i blew the oppurtunity to at least thank him for 4ever changing my view on what is relevant and right with music and the world well thanx doug 14 years later u guys r the truth
