I'm so glad to hear it.  I just hate to see the ones who act blase'....a couple come to mind.  He's actually good with people if they are warm and not jerks.  The small venues are up close and personal.  Oh I really hate you now!!  lol   You never grow too old to not fall in love or feel passionate about someone or some thing.  Of course...I can't really say I'm your average.  But without a passion for something....even just to see your childs smile....or get that college degree when your 80....it's what makes life worth living.  Jake has inspired me.  I had quite playing for several years.  I've always had a guitar or piano and played since age 7.  Self taught, but a think I have a measure of talent.  But I had quite....lost all inspiration, his a certain age and decided my life was over.  Don't like the pop culture, so much shallow pettiness and uncivil behavior....and then Jake appeared on Am Idol.   And it's like the window blew open and a cool breeze blew in and breathed new life inside me...and I've been hooked ever since.  I don't want to sound weird.  I hope I'm not being weird.  God knows.  But, it's not easy to find people who are on Jake's level of awareness and character.   I will gravitate to someone because of what they are..not who they are.  Thank you for listening.  There isn't anyone really I've been able to convey some of my thoughts and feeling with regarding Jake Bugg.   I owe a lot to him.  And I'm thankful he did get out and et known and help to lift up a generation.  Big thing...but don't tell him   His family must be ecstatic with his success and so proud. 

You seem so well rounded. It's lovely to hear that someone is truly inspired by music. It has healing powers, trust me, I know. Let's just say that I'm living proof and Jake's music got me through alot of physical and dare I say, emotional pain. It's been my inspiration for living life to the fullest and not take anything for granted. He knows my story as his mother told him and it truly touched his heart. He knew nothing about it when we met but he does now and knows that his lyrics are very powerful. I'll always admire him for being a great person.

You know who comes to mind when I think of Jakes specialness.....Jackie Evancho. She is beyond her years....lovely lovely person.....and smart, decent but with an edge too.  And talented....her voice is heaven sent.  I wonder if they met....what would happen.  I think it would be either running in the opposite direction....or the 4th of July.  Nothing in between.  And then...that green tinge would cover me head to toe.   So jealous.   But happy for his happiness....and hers.  I can't imagine who would be good enough for her....or him.   Have you ever heard her?   If not....start with her PBS performance with David Foster.  At 10 yrs old.....she left you transfixed and you jaw on the floor.  The beauty and awareness.....and just standing there...unafraid .....and producing the most beautiful human voice I've ever heard.  And I grew up with a mother who sang opera.   Jackie was literally like an angel come to earth.  People were stunned.  Jake is not on that level...but it's not necessary.  He's quality hands down..  Subtle but potent.  Jeez Louise...Somebody put a cork in it.  Thanks again.  I guess I just don't care anymore what anyone things.   If I need to get stuff out...it's better here than hitting the fridge or lighting another cigarette...

I am special agent Bugg, I have successfully infiltrated the hearts and minds of those who you have failed to win over in the past. By posing as the arch-nemesis to the mass-produced pop and pretending I'm an authentic and "real" song writer, I have convinced these people that I am the saviour of music. They are yet to realise that I am massively manufactured to present this image.

By criticising others for not writing their own songs, I have successfully distracted them from my 3 man team of songwriters who assisted me in writing "my" songs. The image you carefully manufactured for me, has been a huge success, and those who question me are considered to not know "real music" thanks to the self-perpetuating myth of my genius. A myth you and the NME created, I thank you again for that.

Adding noises to my record to make it sound poorly recorded and "real" has endeared me to millions. They are yet to realise that this makes my music just as manufactured as the pop songs they despise. My carefully chosen words and persona in interviews has convinced them that I am the answer to the problems in modern music and that I am the new Bob Dylan (even with my 3 man team of co-writers!).

My songs about having a tough life, drugs, the police etc have made them forget that I am only a child and my only experience of any of these things was in my grand theft auto video game. Also, thank you for vetoing my suggestion of a song about the very hungry caterpillar, I appreciate now that my life must be presented in a certain way to win their affection. My tales of a "terrible" life growing up in a first world country with food, water, shelter and an education was another master-stroke. They think I've had a hard life and this makes them like me even more. They surely do not know the meaning of a hard life.

Your mission has been a success, we have pulled the wool over their eyes. The decline of genuine song writers throughout the land has been assured, they are condemned to playing in pubs for another 10 years. I hail your glorious victory
