Buddy Holly - Flower Of My Heart Lyrics
Do you think of me darlin'
While we're many miles apart
Oh please be true to me my darlin'
For you are the flower of my heart
And I've worried over you
But I'll never worry dear
If your love is true
Please come back to me my darlin'
For I can't live while we're apart
Come back, come back to me my darlin'
For you are the flower of my heart

To settle all debates....This is Buddy & Bob (Buddy Holly and Bob Montogomery) not the Crickets. The intro of this song (the man saying "Buddy Holly and The Crickets) is none other than Dick Clark from the Cricket's appearance on American Bandstand on October 28th, 1958 where the Crickets lip-synced "It's So Easy" and "Heartbeat". They Also appeared on American Bandstand on August 26, 1957 where they lip-synced "That'll Be The Day"....
budd refused give back their payment check to dick(after appearing on tv) .so that the film of them 'lip-syncing' . probably ''''got lost'''' ..... :-(
yes this is before he became Buddy Holly, they called them selfe Buddy and Bob, Buddy came from the fact that he was so nice to everybody that all people called him buddy, his real name was in fact Charles Hardin Holley, Holly without e was a wrongwriting by Norman Petty and Buddy didn´t change it because it could mean unlucky that´s why he kept Holly,
THE CRICKETS WAS FORMED BUT NOT ALLOWED IN THE RECORDING STUDIO READ THE BOOK BUDDY HOLLY STORY BY MARIE HOLLY

@DibolaCorp Ok, thanks, love the song so I'll put it on cd.
This is not Buddy, but it's good, similar to the song A Soft Place in My Heart by Buddy.
