When I owned my 1997 Dodge ram 1500 I felt like that thing was never gonna die on me ( it actually did last me to 290k miles), when I had my 2001 Ford f150 I had lot of issues (lasted me to only 140k), my current 2002 Silverado 2500 Duramax makes me feel rich with the leather, heated seats, nice speakers and etc. (It is still going at 170k, no issues at all, expect it to last a long time being a pre-def and useless shit diesel.

I can desolate to this song, had an 01 explorer that was falling apart as my first vehicle, then I got my 97 f150 (extended cab longbed with a 2 in lift), fixed it up and got it running again, and it's the best vehicle I've ever owned, pain in the ads when something breaks because it's ford...but at 250k she's still going strong

haha haha I have a 6.0 and she is more reliable than a dirtycrap seen more dodges and Chevys on the side of road, also Ford's diff on the 6.7 is NOT aluminum, now it does have smaller gears but a lot of torque

hounddog2952 prefer my old 2 valve 4.6 in my 97 f150, talked to some people that do cash for clunkers, they've scrapped a few 6.6's and 4.6's, they use chemicals that turn the oil into cement and the 6.6's won't run afterwards, but majority of the 4.6's still run afterwards, you just can't kill an old ford (consider 03 the last good year for ford)
