Bucks Fizz - My Camera Never Lies Lyrics
Ah, click, click
Ah, click, click
I've been checking you up, I've been tracking you down
Funny all the things that I've found
I must apologise
(It doesn't matter any more) To you
('Cause everything you tell me is boring)
(It doesn't matter what I say) To you
'Cause you've got that look in your eyes
The camera never lies
My camera never lies
So I put you in the picture and cut it down to size (My camera, oh, oh)
My camera never lies anymore
'Cause there's nothing worth lying for (My camera never lies)
There's nothing worth lying for (My camera never lies)
My camera never lies anymore
Try to cover the trail, try to head for the line
Wonder why you're wasting your time
With another disguise
'Cause there's no compromise when the negative is dry
(It doesn't matter what I do) For you
('Cause every time you take me I'm sleeping) You're never gonna shake me now
(It doesn't matter how I try) For you
(I can see by the look in your eyes)
(The camera never lies)
My camera never lies
So I'll put you in the picture and cut it down to size (My camera, oh, oh)
My camera never lies anymore
'Cause there's nothing worth lying for (My camera never lies)
There's nothing worth lying for (My camera never lies)
My camera never lies anymore
(Ah click click, ah click click)
My camera, my camera, my camera never lies
Lies oho, oho
My camera never lies anymore
'Cause there's nothing worth lying for
My camera never lies
So I put you in the picture and cut it down to size (My camera, oh, oh)
My camera never lies anymore
'Cause there's nothing worth lying, nothing worth lying
Nothing worth lying for
My camera never lies anymore (My camera never lies)
My camera never lies anymore (My camera never lies)
My camera never lies anymore (My camera never lies)
My camera never lies anymore (My camera never lies)

Bucks Fizz My Camera Never Lies Comments
Luvly jubbly 👍😁
Strange to think they were involved in a bad crash i believe near Dartford
F**king amazing. I love the ability to find songs half remembered from childhood on here 😊
I miss the 80s so much x
I always wondered who wrote and produced their songs, similar to dollar, great songs with wonderful musicians, the drumming on this is great, but maybe that’s just me.
terry noonan Drumming courtesy of renowned drummer Graham Broad.
ZanduckTV2 thank you Mr z (if that is your real name)

This so screams '1980s' doesn't it. You have to hand it to Bucks Fizz record company, they had some really good song writers writing for the band. The tempo of this track keeps changing and therefore keeps it interesting Love it!
trevor brown Andy Hill, Pete Sinfield, Ian Bairnson and Warren Bacall penned their best material, I think. They wrote some b sides themselves and Bobby penned some album tracks. Cheryl wrote the b side to their Golden Days single, called Where Do I Go Now, which is great, and before her departure Jay wrote a track called Evil Man, which I think was included on the ep version of their You & Your Heart So Blue single. Mike Stock of Stock/Aitken/Waterman fame is working with them now, as the Fizz. Check out their f-z of pop album.
The all seeing eye - now I get it that I didn't then
I think the songwriters won an award for this song. Deservedly so in my opinion.
Totally fancied the pants off Cheryl
The soul camera 👁️
Love it☺
Well im 48 and still have a soft spot for a lot of BF songs as i just find them really catchy and easy to listen to and the cheaply made videos still make it all the more appealing to me in a weird sort of way. I am really surprised they never banged loads more hits out. Oh well i am grateful to youtube to help refresh my ageing memory.
Lovely looking group pretty girls and sexy men ooooh love it .
great memories, great music, wish I could go back :)
Still love that chorus.
That wink...oh my
I got all their singles on vinyl
Bustygirl 1970 me too! And almost all their lp,s :)
Best song from a great group. When music was brilliant and life was so much better. 80s forever.
Yeah we can totally be ABBA, but with all the songwriters money can buy.
They are all accomplished singers in their own right and still performing and recording today
David Savage at least The Fizz are still together and recording without lying to us about new songs.
Brilliant Tune!.
What a gorgeous pair of bints!....the ladies, that is.
I also love Mike, he is hot, sexy and handsome too. I think we can also have nice and beautiful children as well as I dreamed it with Bobby Gee. Just kidding. Love Bucks Fizz here in Phil.
Bobby please.....be mine😁😀 I'm gonna marry you. But for now, you must be reunited to the other 3 original members of Bucks Fizz....after that I' ll set the venue for our very special wedding and we will live happily with the Bucks Fizz... But I think you have to wait for me until I reach my legal age or maybe my 20's or 30's co'z I'm only 17 now. I really adore you since the first time I saw you in "the land of make believe" clip. I'll wait for that, I'll wait for you Bobby Gee. Just kidding but I really love Bobby, he's too handsome to be mine. Lucky if I get him.
Isn't Jay Aston just the absolute bomb!! Had a massive crush on her back in the day, absolutely gorgeous woman.xx
Great days 12 years NHS when music was great and the care of people was how it should be all songs bring back memories
Wonder why this doesn’t get played much on radio and tv etc, compared to Making your mind up and land of make believe, I spite of the fact that it was a no 1 hit.
... part of my life 🤘😁
Still love this song after all these years. Cheryl , you're still a beauty.
My fav bucks fizz song as a kid and still sounds fabulous!
2019 anyone?
I love this song, Bucks Fizz (The Fizz) are brilliant!
The guys in BF are totally sexless, couple of nanffy panffys.
Nanffy Panffy sounds like a village in Wales, unlike something that does not sound like that.
💖🧡❤
RIP PRODIGY
I will always love this song, such vivid childhood memories
This is my favourite album of bucks fizz it being back some good memories when I was at school from amanda
Love Cheryl in this video.
My childhood great memories
Loved this song when I was a child too epic song!
I can remember buying this single from woolworths in 1982 and playing it on my stepmothers record player.sad thing was once I got it home it was broken.still got it back eventually loved it then still do.
Cheryl always my fave she never elevates herself she just is a nice lass plus i love her bendy thumbs lol
great clip for its time and the perfect pop tune
Oh fuck yes.
look at the eye Before the Big Brother days!!
This song is about 35 years old...It's scary to think that the future now was being foretold then. Bucks Fizz had some well produced hits for their time.
Alec JC That’s down to their producer Andy Hill, he seemed to really bring out the best in their vocal capabilities with the harmonies they were renowned for, together with his superb songwriting and the musicianship.
My most favourite song of Bucks Fizz. Fascinating arrangement!
I think I bought the 7" of this XD I STILL LOVE IT...that bass line right at the start....aahhhhh no decade was better for music, films, sweets, children's TV than the 80's. NONE. This song is miles better than their Eurovision winner.
Wonders I think Mike said he thought it was released too early in their career, but Cheryl kinda argued that if it had been released later, it probably wouldn’t have been a big hit cos their fans had moved on by then. I think they all had kind of a love-hate relationship with MYMU cos while it shot them to fame, it made credibility difficult cos everyone kinda expected their following hits to be in the same style. Land of Make Believe was a real turning point for them, One Of Those Nights didn’t do so well, but Land put them right back at the top. Totally agree re ‘80s, no decade like it. I don’t even follow today’s charts, such as they are, don’t know any of the tracks on Now compilations!
cheesy but great!
Grover Bennington It’s not cheesy, it’s ace lol.
so many happy memories of my childhood in this song
Such a fab song.Takes me right back to being 9 again.
Cheryl mmmmmmmmmmmm
Jay said on Sounds of the '80s recently that the asp was real, but had all the venom removed! Love her "it doesn't matter..." snarl lol! Keep pressing 8 lol! Someone posted a live performance on their Facebook page where Cheryl sneezes and the others crack up lol! I remember Tony Blackburn premiering the track on his Radio 1 weekend show when the group were guests. Cheryl, Jay, Kim Wilde and Clare Grogan are my top '80s totty, mmmm!
My first teenage crush! Cheryl! What an awesome song too! Buck's Fizz's best song by a mile!
Be looking women in pop
I never tire of listening to Mike sing. He has such warmth in his voice.
I don't think much of this song, to be honest but that intro needs sampling. NOW!
!!! _ - SUPER - _ !!!
I got this on tape (Bixie's Cassette) with tokens from Weetabix back in '86!
I had a bunch of Weetabix "Top Trax" tapes but I don't think I had this one. I had plenty of Big Country, Tears for Fears and Thompson Twins, and (my favourite at the time) Tarzan Boy!
Remember them lol, If You Can’t Stand The Heat featured on one of the other character’s cassettes. I remember you got a postcard of each act with some info, but strangely they used a pic from the Talking In Your Sleep photo shoot, with Jay, sitting in a field. The info paragraph said with their new line up (Shelley) they look set to go on making more Top Trax!
Still loving this and its 30 May 2017.
TOP BUCKS FIZZ SONGS ARE
Easy Love
Love Dies Hard
Camera Never Lies
land of make believe
FMCREPAIRARMAGH Love their ballads. How about I’d Like To Say I Love You, Rules of the Game, You & Your Heart So Blue and New Beginning?
were the vocals as tricky to do as they sound?
Tyrone Tucker I read somewhere that Andy Hill, producer and writer, had Mike and Bobby then Cheryl & Jay in the studio to do their segments separately. I think the group came up with the chanting part themselves.
Incredibly sophisticated pop song. The arrangement is very dynamic, and that section from 2:38 is almost prog rock. Great stuff. :)
Grant Smith Trevor Horn produced?
gary maxwell Andy Hill, but it would’ve been great if Trevor had worked with them as well as Dollar. Their music was in the same vein as Dollar, and in the ‘90s David Van Day joined Bobby then Mike in different line ups of the group, but it ended in disaster. Look on Wikipedia if you don’t know about it already.
Love it me and my sister used to the dance miss her so much she looked like Cheryl baker in this video
loved the group, shame the homage to satan is soooooo obvious now! bunch of dicks!! great to see satan mentioned in what was a childs band
as catchy as a dose of crabs on a Saturday Night 2 :55
I remember growing up listening to this. I was 8 thinking life was great 80's music made me happy
They like abba
My ex girlfriend looked exactly like Mike Nolan. Very off putting.
After the car crash or before..?
I just noticed your surname...lol...even funnier....
My ex girlfriend looked like Cheryl Baker. I am not a clever man.
Pisser lol
such a great tune
Fab tune , Jay Aston is totally gorgeous in that video.
Team Cheryl for life!
Bucks Fizz - brilliant! This is a fine song just like Land Of Make Believe. Love it!
Love the "It doesn't matter any more to you 'Cause everything you tell me is boring" part.
Suprised I've not heard it sampled in a modern day song. I think that passage of the song is fantastic.
lovevit love it
So this is where Big Brother got its idea for the 'eye' symbol! Bucks Fizz... Brilliant stuff. This is my favourite song and Jay, my favourite member of the group. Oddly, my name is also Jay!
It's Rita Crudgington!!!
Just seen this on TOTP 1982 on BBC4 and it is nowhere near as good as their previous two number 1 songs. First time Ive heard it as its not on any of my various 80's compilation CDs. Not good enough to make the cut!
Saw Bobby G a few weeks ago at Ashcroft Holiday Park in Kent as we were on holiday and he has still got it at near 64
Whoever coyned the phrase ''sex on legs'' got it right
going to their tour show October if I make that far. Bucket List job. Oh to see Jay live!!!
Hope you saw them mate.....they're awesome!!!
this was a ace pop band but got too arty for me in 83!😣
edexcel put some tunes on that music tech exam tbh
Listened to this at least 12 times after the exam...
same here !! i took off my headphones and all you could hear was my music blasting out !!
+moosie e Haha :P I took mine off and could hear ither people listening to Magnetic Man
hahahah no way !!!!!!XD that was a pretty good one tooooo !
+moosie e It was!! :D
By far the best song of the edexcel music tech exam in my opinion
+LHBattlefield3 Was this on some exam? Forgive me for asking, I'm not British so I wouldn't know :)
Hell yes!! That and Art For Art's Sake ;)
Definitely one of the band's very best!
You have to listen to various songs given to you on a CD and answer questions relating to how the songs were made and what techniques were used etc
TruthfulOctopus tell us more. I think this is quite a clever composition and ahead of its time.
This group are Great. So less of the insults. Abba were good so is Bucks Fizz.
i agree!
Love this track, ahead of its time.
Even now in 2016, they're still catchy as fook!!!
ABBA wrote their own songs, missie.
I was young and innocent. I would sing my heart out to this one 😀
You're lucky. By the time I heard this, I knew that my camera was the only thing that never lied.
Buck's WHO? abba will be rmembered in another centurey or two.
buck's midgets won['t. wanna bet?
I hope they are also remembered
They've got a huge youth following, so I'm pretty sure you'd want to take that back.
abba- under a tack, not under Matt Pop
Ahh click click!!
My childhood

+dimah khan When We Were Young was by far their best song IMO. Really magical to listen to.
