Buckley, Tim - Happy Time Lyrics
Ah, it's a happy time inside my mind
When a melody does find a rhyme
Says to me I'm comin' home to stay
Oh, Lord, home to stay
I'm comin' home to stay
Ah, lord, it's just the same old story
Something about love for glory
A nickel and a dime a dozen
Fame
Ah, it's such a shame
Ah, the way they use your name
Ah, you know it's such a shame
When it's only mine to sing a song
Hoping that you'd cross along my way
Ah, now move along
Ah, but I'll be back again
Ooh back again
Ah, it's a happy time inside my mind
When a melody does find a rhyme
Says to me I'm comin' home to stay
Oh, Lord, home to stay
I'm comin' home to stay
Sleep late now mama
Let the mornin' sun warm your bed
While I'm away
While I'm away

Buckley, Tim Happy Time Comments
Tim never ever, never, dissapointed me. Ever...
Such a beautiful song.
Tim Buckley helps you to feel better about yourself like never before that you believed you could by being open minded I think i can have a great day
His music reflects his sadness of missing his son, maturity comes with age, understanding comes with intelligence
Too bad he didn't find happy times in seeing his son, Jeff. The poor kid.
Still love it
Oh it's a happy time
Love it
Thanks Tim...I'm FOREVER grateful
Wow, sounds a little like In Rainbows Radiohead lifted this melody
don't think tim buckley owns guitar arpeggios
Someone disliked this?!!! That person has no soul.
Michael Vronksy you are so right. He was one of the best ever.
A genuine one off...
It's a known fact some folks out there have no soul.....Unfortunately.....
Shivers.
as a singer, I dedicate this to the one I love...
Good choice , if I may....Best from Italy
or excuse me, very freakingly awesome!!
yeah burt 472, very nice!!

such a poet. such timeless beauty in every word. bless Tim and Jeff
Blue Afternoon is the first album I heard by Buckley. It's turned out to be the one I love most by him; though my three biggest favorite Buckley songs are not from it - Buzzin' Fly, Sweet Surrender and Once I Was.
Extraordinary. Blue Afternoon is a magnificent album.
There's a movie called "Greetings from Tim Buckley". I haven't seen it and I'm not sure exactly what it's about. I think it might be more centered around Jeff than Tim. But anyway...check it out...you know...if you want to.
I actually like that film.... a piece about both of the Buckleys and their music and how it overlapped etc.
did it reminded to you "weird fishes"?
First time I've heard this song and I was just thinking that.
my favourite singer
He was too talented even for the sixties!!! Their albums are MASTERPIECES...ETERNAL TIM!!
someone should mak a movie of tim buckley, just like they did for "the doors. when your strange"...i would love that!!
one of the mildest songs of all time.
why he died? and his poor son? so soon so soon
dam drugs and booze
So scaringly intense...........
a true favorite---sing it to myself occasionally--archetypal
It's sad to see this particular song doesn't get any comments......Strange as it's so freakingly awesome.......C'mon People...Post away
Beautiful Album and Unique singer/songwriter. He gave me a lot of emotions in the past and keep doing so still now.........Thank you Tim... You left us way too soon...........
