Buckley, Jeff - Everybody Here Wants You Lyrics
Twenty-nine pearls in your kiss
A singing smile
Coffee smell and lilac skin
Your flame in me
A singing smile
Coffee smell and lilac skin
Your flame in me
I'm only here for this moment
I know everybody here wants you
I know everybody here thinks he needs you
I'll be waiting right here just to show you
How our love will blow it all away
Hmm, such a thing of wonder in this crowd
I'm a stranger in this town
You're free with me
And our eyes locked in downcast love
I sit here proud
Even now you're undressed in your dreams with me
Oh, I'm only here for this moment
I know everybody here wants you
I know everybody here thinks he needs you
I'll be waiting right here just to show you
How our love will blow it all away
I know the tears we cried
Have dried on yesterday
The sea of fools has parted for us
There's nothing in our way
My love
Don't you see, don't you see?
You're just the torch to put the flame to all our guilt and shame
And I'll rise like an ember in your name
I know I, I know I
I know everybody here wants you
I know everybody here thinks he needs you
I'll be waiting right here just to show you
Oh let me show you
That love can rise, rise just like embers
Love can taste like the wine of the ages, oh babe,
And I know they all looks so good from a distance
But I tell you I'm the one
I know everybody here, well, thinks he needs you
Think he needs you
And I'll be waiting right here just to show you.

Never get tired of this
I think it will take a current , big artist to cover this song to give it the attention and recognition it deserves! what a sexy song
The thing about this song is, fuck it's good.
Does anyone know how to get a hold of Hud his mom.? I’m having similar things happen. Certain things I remember but everyone’s going to call me nuts, but that’s OK I’m used to that. I had an awakening or something happened in 2016 that’s not important. But I need to talk to his mom Mary! I’m starting to remember things
Oooooh My Old Frend Jeff.....😌😌😌😌😌🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🎅🙈🙉🐵Tank'You Tank You for Alll Your Work@Forever Young and Alive👍😘😘😘😘

15/12/19♥️
Really unfortunate that Jeff never got to live long enough to explore his potential as a musician. Despite the accomplishment of Grace and other selections of his unfinished works, there was just so much potential that was unrealized. His voice was obviously capable of anything but sometimes I think it overshadows how talented of a musician he was all around. Beyond the vocal performance, Grace is just an amazing piece of music. The lyricism is is poetic, the music is an embodiment of an era of alt rock but it stands on its own, and songs like this just go to show that there Jeff's progression as an artist would have invariably arrived at a transcendent level.
We really did lose him, in the truest sense of the word.
Wow, blown away. Never heard this one before. S3xy soulful. Meowww
Ps.mreminds me of something Prince might have penned or sang. Miss them both.
Omg c est juste ... J n’ai même pas d mots 💫
Happy Birthday, Jeff.
Happy birthday Jeff ♥️
You are missed...
I was listening to Jon B.'s cover of this song, and while I do enjoy his version, I felt the need to hear this one. And I can honestly tell you that I'm glad that I did.
Voice like your favorite scented candle... my god! 🔥💜
soul mate
This is my ALL-TIME secret song for a girl that I've been saving my whole life for the right time
Love you and miss you Jeff!!!.
Every day, still I listen
Does anyone know the name of the model? Incredible video, incredible artist...rip
I’m born in 97 and listening to this in 2019. I love this song
What is this video about?
everybody wants her or something from her before she can decide what she wants
After all these years, it finally dawned on me. I always thought it was just about a young woman alone in an airport, brushing off the advances of creeps and would-be suitors. Then I realized that she is waiting for Jeff. Only Jeff. And that no matter how long she waits, he's never, ever going to come.
The greatest song! Absolutely horrible video! A single shot of 2 dogs banging would make more sense than this.
Where was this video shot? This place is SO cool looking!
Great song, really crappy video. Why?
Genius making difference at 3:23.
I have missed this song. Havent thought of you in a long time. I love singing it.
such a thing of wonder in this crowd
I'm a stranger in this town
You're free with me
Gorgeous Asian woman. Breathtaking..
Seriously though, first time I saw this video was on my CD copy of this album in late 2001...I initially got thru maybe the first minute and it became difficult to watch without weeping. I had to shut it off. Since I had lost this album (among other things) in a near cross country move from Chicago to central California in March of 2002...and YouTube didn't exist then....it wasn't until maybe 12 years ago I was able to watch it again (I'm now trying to replace this album on vinyl rather than CD...) but I still cry every time I watch it. It's the part where she's at the airport bar and the old guy looks at her but she's transfixed by Jeff on the TV.
Btw, we don't think we need him...we KNOW we need him. After he left, music REALLY took a turn for the worst.
Pretty sure he's jamming with Prince...right now.
What a beautiful man he was!!!! Not only on outside but on inside. We miss u Jeff😢
Ćao, Anđo :)
Wow, Jeff knew to follow in his father's footprints. Tim Buckley (Father). Yes, He was a Imprint of him in so many ways. Great chose. I just wish he lived longer and his father too. They had great talent! Missing his Dad and him in so many ways. I will always listen to both of these great Musicians. Ty, for the beautiful music you left behind. : )
29? "Snaggletoothsome".
Twenty nine pearl in your kiss, this is just one of Jeff's best songs
So sad he died so suddenly
Lmao who else came here from Instagram edits😂✌🏼😌???
Amor eterno a Jeff.
29 houses 🥳
I wonder how much Jamiroquai got paid to play the creep @1:38

You don't need to listen to his song all over again just to understand the value, but you will listen to it more and more.
The women in the video who is her and jeff Buckley what singing voice he had i really miss his singing
this looks so 90s haha I love it
Have a drink in my honor then!!! 😂
I will never show up
This song makes me feel so good because Jeff's lyrics makes me realize you are loved even though you feel alone. But the truth is you are not alone and everybody feels what you feel but guess what Everybody here loves you and I believe Jeff wanted us all to know that.
His emotions in his voice makes me realize that we are loved, remember you are loved and not alone.
Shame on you...whoever is responsible for this cheesy melodramatic shit right here..you cannot possibly believe that Jeff is pleased. You shoulda left this one alone🤷🏻♀️
Sexy & smooth. Such a fantastic song.
✨💙 I 💖Youヽ🦋♡`♪ to eternity
Ahh, imagine Jeff Buckley and Kevin Gilbert making music together!
this shit slaps
God, why did Jeff Buckley have to leave us all so soon? We’re all yearning for some more of his seductive and catchy music to arrive, but the bittersweet truth that we don’t want to accept that he is truly gone.
I seriously cannot stop listening to this song! It’s a great way to start the day, great mood lifter and calms you down at the same in the middle of the day, and for sure a great song in the evening!
i wonder what these 412 people listens to.
R&B soul sexy fusion.
Who made this crap video ?
Thank u to the person who introduced me to this beautiful song.
Su voz... me tiene hipnotizada... porque se fue 💔
I’m so sad I never knew of his music until this past year and he’s gone... wow such amazing talent and soul with his music, the lyrics in this... and his voice.. heartbreakingly beautiful! This song is so romantic! (although the video.. especially the way it ends is so sad.. and strange) RIP Jeff Buckley 🙏🏼😢❤️ I’m mourning that we won’t get to hear more hauntingly soulful pieces from you. For being so young when you passed you sure had such a deep soul. God Bless you. 🙏🏼❤️
Damm ... thought it was Jmsn.
Bitter sweet
Such a beautiful song
Beautiful Jeff Buckley❤️his voice brings so much joy into my heart and soul❤️
It’s funny because the video has nothing to do with the song lilac skin means skin is so black it’s purple coffee smelling lilac skin is singing about a very beautiful dark skin woman
This song is a panty-dropper if I've heard one :)
ça c’est un chanteur !! bonne musique bonne voix et beau texte merci jeff
Jeff Buckley is one of the 10000 reasons why I would've loved to experience the 90s. The music from that time always amaze me, from a vaste variety of genres at that too. And I hate the whole "Music is dead" because if you think so you're not looking hard enough I think. But there's a reason why people like Jeff Buckley are considered "a Big". He was one of a kind, like many others from that time. I wonder if I'll ever get to experience the same feelings I get when I listen to him, or Alice in Chains, Lauryn Hill in the hip hop sphere or even the melodic version of punk rock of that time (even tho I love the whole genre from its beginnings to its very recent evolution).
The bass guitar is orgasmic 😉
❤️🇨🇴
classy. like evidence
Great song. Shit bridge. I can see why the man didn't like it. But still a great song. Wasted youth
Bless.
As mentioned elsewhere not heard many a sexier song since Prince or Marvin. RIP once again.
ggv brought me here
Wish Prince had covered this
He really was only here for a moment, and it was beautiful.
Nothing but thieves band sounds a lot like Jeff 😍 check them out guys
December 2018 - Australian ad on this video is totally inapropriate underwater thing!!
5/29/1997.........The REAL day the music died. Hard to find many songs of substance released since that fateful day................

Ah Jeff.. 🌷🥀🌹💐
He's one of the few singers that can sing all genres of music accurately. This is straight up R&B and then on the next song he sings hard rock.
I remember the first time I heard Grace from front to back and being completely stunned by the album's sheer beauty & wonder. It was an instant classic! Then I heard he was working on a follow-up with none other than Tom Verlaine of Television (another band I love) and anxiously awaited completion...then he went for a swim...the news crushed me. How could such an amazingly talented person be taken from us. A few years after, (Sketches for) My Sweetheart, The Drunk was released. When I popped the first disc on...and I heard this second track, I actually cried. I played it about 5x more before I moved forward on with the rest of the tracks...and thought, he could've put this double album out as-is and it would've been as revered as Grace. Anyhow, we all miss him and he would be putting out his art and we'd love it of course. I also loved this album because they included stunning covers of Back In NYC (Genesis), Yard of Blonde Girls (Inger Lorre) and Satisfied Mind (Johnny Cash).
White boy soul...brilliant!
True story about this song.. Jeff never wanted it to be released and had the producer hide the tapes... And when he died Sony demanded all of the tapes be turned over to them... Jeff was worried that people would think he was trying to be Lenny Kravitz... And the irony is Jeff was nominated for a Grammy for the song for best male vocalist, and he lost to Lenny Kravitz
david taylor Seriously? Wow that, I didn’t know! Thanks!
And I was thinking this song reminded me of Lenny Kravitz
The messed up thing is...if he was still alive, we may have never heard this amazingly beautiful song.
Nope not true, check your facts
@Tom Grasso hmm, were you there? Elaborate how you know so much. Please, enlighten us with your internet troll wisdom.
396 people can go suck dong. Really??? a total troll could get a super hot babe lady undressed if he played this. It is the sound of gods sexiest angels desire.
From a Distance
Another gift from Jeff...Thanks so much for sharing:)
