Buck Owens - Let Me Get My Message Through Lyrics

I've got letters, return phone calls, no answer
But I can't get my message through
Every dream is of you and I know that it's true
That I love you, love you.

Let me get my message through
Let me get my message through to you
Can't you hear my heart cries
It's making my soul die.

I know, I done wrong but I want to belong in your heart
Make me a part of you
So let me get my message through
I'll be yours and I'll be true.

Let me get my message through to you.
Uh huh, Huh uh...

My dad took my sister and I to see the Buck Owens show here in Boston, forgot the year, I had to get the record. When listening I can see us sitting in what at the time was called the Music Hall and watching the stars of the show, great show, fond memories.

Pickwick later issued an abridged version of this album. You can find vinyl copies of both it and the original on ebay. Thanks for posting this. Big in Vegas was apparently the last song he performed.

My dad had it on 8 track when i was 6. Hearing it brought back time when music was at it's best. Thanks a whole bunch!

You are very welcome. I also listened to this way back in the day in the early 70's. The way I understand it. Buck was in the process of buying back all of his library from Capitol Records, He did have a warehouse full of these albums and if you went to his club you might 've been lucky to get a free autographed copy of this album too in the 90's. A very generous Buck!

I worked for Buck at his Phoenix radio station. Know the family. Buck did indeed negotiate with Capitol records for his master tapes. He took delivery of them in 1980. Today the family can re-issue any album they want. Not many recording artists had the clout to pull off that business deal. I believe Buck schooled Garth Brooks on how to negotiate for his masters as well.
