Buck Owens - Cold Cold Wind Lyrics

In the silence of this darken room
My mind reels with a fragnance of your perfume
In your mind stormy thoughts are growing
Mhm, I feel a cold, cold wind a blowing
Woman, I feel a cold, cold wind a blowing

It's been a lifetime since I been close to you
Still no one really knows you like I do
With clouds in your mind and ray in your eyes a showing
Mhm, I feel a cold, cold wind a blowing
Woman I feel a cold, cold wind a blowing.

With my arms around you I hold you tight
Though you do the same to me, girl you don't feel right
You've got a way of leavin' without going
Mhm, I feel a cold, cold wind a blowing
Woman, I feel a cold, cold wind a blowing...

My dad took my sister and I to see the Buck Owens show here in Boston, forgot the year, I had to get the record. When listening I can see us sitting in what at the time was called the Music Hall and watching the stars of the show, great show, fond memories.

Pickwick later issued an abridged version of this album. You can find vinyl copies of both it and the original on ebay. Thanks for posting this. Big in Vegas was apparently the last song he performed.

My dad had it on 8 track when i was 6. Hearing it brought back time when music was at it's best. Thanks a whole bunch!

You are very welcome. I also listened to this way back in the day in the early 70's. The way I understand it. Buck was in the process of buying back all of his library from Capitol Records, He did have a warehouse full of these albums and if you went to his club you might 've been lucky to get a free autographed copy of this album too in the 90's. A very generous Buck!

I worked for Buck at his Phoenix radio station. Know the family. Buck did indeed negotiate with Capitol records for his master tapes. He took delivery of them in 1980. Today the family can re-issue any album they want. Not many recording artists had the clout to pull off that business deal. I believe Buck schooled Garth Brooks on how to negotiate for his masters as well.
