Buck Owens - Blue Christmas Tree Lyrics
Dream is the color and joy it should be
But I've got a blue blue Christmas tree
You took the happiness God gave you and me
And all you left for Christmas is a blue Christmas tree.
Beneath it sets of package addressed to me from you
That I'm afraid to open I know it contains the blues
But merry Christmas darling wherever you may be
And I hope you will never have a blue Christmas tree.
[Instrumental]
Beneath it sets of package addressed to me from you
That I'm afraid to open I know it contains the blues
But merry Christmas darling wherever you may be
And I hope you will never have a blue Christmas tree...

Great song delivery by the late, great Buck Owens. I'm loving this music! I live in Nashville, and I'm trying hard to keep this same type of classic, traditional country music alive. www.MerlinGene.com Thanks to Buck and all the fine musicians that played with him. God Bless you all. Signed, Buck''s #1 fan, Merlin Gene

Buck Owens during his Golden Years Of The 60 `s
Yes. Buck with Don and group. Greatest country band ever assembled in USA. Bakersfield rules for country. Great country musicians who played country the right way. mos60
Steel guitar is truly the soul of country music.
I agree with you completely Jay! Merlin Gene Nashville, Tennessee www.MerlinGene.com
Yes, this is real country music and real Buck Owens. Brumley's opening steel break, plus his solo - oh man! But Buck delivering on this Bob Morris co-write with one of the best choruses of a Christmas song: "Beneath it sets a package addressed to me from you, that I'm afraid to open, I know it contains the blues" - oh yeah! All Internet lyrics for this song start with "Dream is the color"....ah no...that makes no sense and it's definitely "Green is the color"! But anyway, a great Buck Owens Christmas song from a great 1965 album cut in MAY of that year!
Now this is real music . Thank you so much for the upload
