Buble, Michael - Stardust Lyrics
Sometimes I wonder why I spend
The lonely nights dreaming of a song
The melody haunts my reverie
And I am once again with you
And each kiss an inspiration
Oh, but that was long ago
And now my consolation
Is in the stardust of a song
And beside a garden wall
When the stars were bright
You were in my arms
The nightingale tells its fairy tale
Of paradise where roses grew
Though I dream in vain
In my heart it always will remain
My stardust melody
The memory of love's refrain
Though I dream in vain
In my heart it always will remain
My stardust melody
The memory of love's refrain
The memory of love's refrain

No. The original is so much better.
When Michel sings its like he is having a casual conversation. It's so natural for him. He's blessed and we are so much more .. to hear these fabulous renditions of tracks long gone.. Love you Michael
Where's the voice?
This sucks!
Very beautiful version , good emotions ! So i can go to sleep with all the Stardust on me ! Good Night friends !
Wonderful !!!
Nice version Michael!!!
Hoagy Carmichael’s Stardust is one of
the all time greatest songs ever written.
Mitchell Parish’s words are pure velvet.Michael
Buble’s performance is absolute perfection.
We are blessed to have artists like this.Keep it up Michael
So beautiful. One of my Dad's favorites from days past.
Wow this kind of music always bring happines to me
I like that he did not to try to copy Nat. A good, different take on the song.
Brilliant, I'm torn now between this version and that of Mr wonderful, Nat King Cole. Sheer poetry.
Just makes me miss NAT KING COLE even more.
Too bad he didn't do the intro. That would have added much to this beautiful rendition
Mmm!! Che ricostruzione!! Usciti da una notte degli Anni '50...
Too smoooth❗❗
This song is a classic is very beautiful but is a copy of Frank Sinatra's version. I prefer Frankie
Perfect
Perfect rendition. Buble’s voice is for this song.
Live is the best version
The arrangement of this song was absolutely perfect. Having Naturally 7 on background vocals was such a great idea.
Sometimes I wonder why I spend
The lonely night dreaming of a song
The melody haunts my reverie
And I am once again with you
When our love was new
And each kiss an inspiration
But that was long ago
Now my consolation
Is in the stardust of a song
And, beside a garden wall
When the stars are bright
You are in my arms
The nightingale tells his fairy tale
A paradise where roses bloom
Though I dream in vain
In my heart it will remain
My stardust melody
The memory of love's refrain
Though I dream in vain

My stardust melody

We don't have Frank, Sammy, Dean, Nat or Nelson Riddle anymore. Thank God we have Michael Buble and Naturally 7. Very nice rendition. Brought some tears.
people where are you listening to?
Nobody is here ? nobody's listening? my god !
awesome
text magically!love
My favorite❤
This is Tommy Dorsey feat. Frank Sinatra & The Pied Pipers version
Beautiful harmony
Loved it!
Beautiful!

Pretty Awesome. I haven't heard this rendition before, but it's one of the best I have heard.
música divina. pareço estar nas nuvens...
July 6th DDay...God bless all of you fallen men...Love you you courageous men...!!!
huuuuuuuuuu lindo demais
Not to provoke any kind of argument, but Harry Connick Junior 's version is certainly worth a listen..Really beautiful...
Awesome...So beautiful...Good God thank you.
Close but Nat's version is still #1
that was beautiful michael, i loved it one of my best loved songs .p.t.b.i.
check out Bob Dylan's version. it is also fantastic
That was EXQUISITE as was Buble and Naturally 7!! Equally, I'm absolutely positive that Hoagy Carmichael and Mitchell Parish themselves would've adored this rendition, too.
nice singing group complements
Maravilhoso !!!!! S2
Stardust has been a favourite of mine for years and Nat has been my preferred singer but I have just discovered this version and it,s knocked my head off.Thank you
supercabledawg, you are right it was written and performed by Hogie Carmichael
I believe Hogie Carmicheal wrote this and played it first but I may be wrong...peace
no, you're correct
Just listened to several versions of the great song. Willie Nelson's sax backing made his version, but the prize still goes to Nat King Cole!
extraordinaire Pure Beauté musicale respect
A version revisited and done beautifully! May just be my fav performance of Michael's. His voice is a modern classic! And blends so well with Naturally 7!
Simply amazing. Who are the guys Michael is singing with?
Naturally 7 :)
This guy is just a "rat pack" in one
Lindo demais! Parabéns!
Maravilhoso! Voz perfeita! Love it!
You think this is "Stardust"? About half of it. Its usually left out intro verse is maybe even more beautiful: "And now the purple dust of twilight time/Steals across the meadow of my heart ...". Wanna hear the rest of that intro? Go to Nat Cole's great recording. Wonder what Sinatra thought of it when he did his own recording years after the one he did as a band singer? Frank RECORDED THE VERSE INTRO O N L Y --didn't even do the rest of the song --perhaps in equal-time compensation for others' neglect of it.
He's a parrot with no American soul! Snap out of it! He's nothing more then a copy of white make singers and certainly not black. He just a pretty face with a trained voice and stupid old Frank Sinatra legg and arm moves! lol!
D H A little harsh to say the least..
Of course it's Stardust, albeit the chorus section, the most recorded portion and recognizable part of the song... How refreshing it is to see recent singers doing these great old songs.
Jerry S DH comment was harsh AND foolish.
Love This song in Sinatra's voice is magical
just woW!
Não canso de escutar
Linda interpretação . Amo demais
My favorite song of all time!
great colaboration!
Maravilhoso.
Just hope everyone realises that this is the exact same arrangement of the song as Frank Sinatra recorded with the Dorsey orchestra in 1942. Still, excellent performance.
No, we didn't, until now. Thank you :)
Perhaps that's why I still prefer the Nat King Cole version. Listen to that - it's stunning. Not a fan of FS.
The other thing is that the NKC version includes the recit at the beginning, which is an important part of the song. This version omits it (as do many others). This version is just a bit to manufactured. I'd rate it as "ho hum". Competent but nothing special.
Sean Lyons wow thanks
perfectly until i can follow the note lol
I rather like this rendition.
he luvs singing, and he luvs singing with other talented people - it's a joy for him, and for us to watch !
I think this is the best rendition of the song
Give Willie Nelson's version a listen if you haven't already.
forgot to say nat cole is my favorite version of it but you are just behind mike tanti baci
nat king cole 10 bubble 1
Have You ever heard the Nat "king" Cole 's one?
@ Ariel Depradine
Naaaawwww, the best rendition hands down would be Johnny Mathis's version. YouTube it.
What is he cracking up about? Haha seems like there's an inside joke to the song
Bela interpretação. E dizer que esta composição é de 1918.
Bellissimo!
Heir apparent to Sinatra doing one of the very greatest songs ever. Thanks to Hoagy for this song.
Magical
harmoniously joyfull
speechless. what a great collaboration!
I saw him when he came to Chicago two years ago and he sang this song!!! He brought the house DOWN!!!
so nice
Beautiful. Well done!
My favourite song ❤️ I was so crushed when he didn't sing this at his concert here in Auckland last year. But still I'm just so grateful I got to hear his beautiful voice live.
Some of the best harmony I have ever heard. Great rendition of a timeless classic.
My favorite song of all time and of all the versions I've heard over my 68 years, I love this one the best. Thanks, guys!
+Deanna Reeder Nat King Cole's version was better imo. While they all sounded wonderful, here, they cut out the first part of the song! It makes no sense for them to do that.
All the best songs -- written on piano.
Pehaps the most beautiful love poem ever made ! ! !
Naturally 7 are awesome especially when harmonising With Michael Buble
omg............... No words!!!!!!!!!!!! <3
loved this one ....
I swear I've listened to this a dozen times this week.... Magical.
