hmm i disagree, i think Ella Fitzgerald is much more authentic but i still love this version more. 

You know, normally I find comments like this annoying, but even if I personally disagree, there can never be anything wrong with preferring an Ella Fitzgerald version over anything. She is Queen. (screw off Beyonce)

as someone who played this song in concert (bass), i really appreciate the changes that they made, especially with the bass changing from a walking part to almost a melody.
